The Dell Technologies User Community met on May 11th for a webinar focused on the Custom Update Catalog! Our Dell Technologies expert host, Mesut Kaptanoglu, offered demos and answered questions from our attendees.
What is the Custom Update Catalog?
The custom update catalog is primarily used by IT Admins to pick and choose updates (drivers, bios, firmware & apps) that they want to offer for their PC fleet. With this capability, they have 100% control over their updates. Customers with traditional management can also use another capability of the tool. They could create a local repository, so their PCs don't need to download each update individually. This helps them to control bandwidth and also keep their clients more secure.
What is DTUC?
The Dell Technologies User Community (DTUC), is an independent, customer-led user group which provides members a forum to network, collaborate, and share with peers and experts who rely on Dell Technologies products and solutions for success.
