Why does this picture remind of the picture of the dogs sitting around playing cards and smoking cigars?

Indeed. I'd love to be humbled by a sense of accomplishment even two years _after_ this comment. Please read what you just wrote. You literally said that McNaughton did a great job copying the paintings of other master painters. How easy is that? Look at what this guy painted from. It's quite easy for any university painting student to paint from another work, and then cut out the faces and plop others in. Copying and pasting is NOT work. It's plagiarism. And it's disgusting when you steal another person's work without attribution, and then deface it, for political (and in this case, cash reasons. McNaughton will get easy money from Right Wingers on this. He knows that).

Wrong. Theodore Roosevelt would agree with most of Trump's policies except for the environment. Reagan did like Trump, there is a photo of them shaking hands when Reagan was POTUS. Lincoln too would have been able to find common ground, the Democrats didn't accept his presidency either. Nixon was a similarly reviled person by his opponents, Eisenhower wouldn't have liked the two Bushes nor TR because the two Bushes were too willing to wage unnecessary war and TR was a Progressive and Eisenhower was a true Conservative Republican. TR wouldn't have liked the two Bushes either because they are Globalists who allowed international organizations like the UN and Nato to strongly influence US international and national policy. He would have agreed with Trump on that issue.

While I am not a huge fan of these paintings, the end of the interview with the explanation of the woman walking up to the table of men made me 100xs more able to appreciate it. And now we have our first woman VP and one of colour which slightly resembles the woman in the painting! kind of awesome.
Dont worry theres a painting with democrat presidents you can drool all over. I couldnt care less whether it was dem or rep or a woman, it's a creative piece of art.
No doubt he's a gifted artist but this doesn't even really look like Trump, for one thing he seems about 80 lbs lighter here...must say though, Roosevelt looks pretty cool...
Roosevelt shouldn't really be in this painting since he had left the Republican party and created the Bull Moose party. I agree with your assessment that Trump looks to light here. I understand that he wants to paint the presidents in a good light, but he should have been true to the fact that Trump is overweight.
Just put Taft next to him. Problem solved. Nothing makes you look slimmer like sitting next to someone fatter.
