- This was our first official day in Lhasa, Tibet and we were really looking forward to exploring this magical city. Surrounded by landscapes that blew our minds, this happens to be one of the most underrated regions in China.
We were shown around by a local who took us to the most popular landmark in Lhasa, Potala Palace. If you're looking for things to do in Lhasa, then this is certainly top three on the list.

It is more developed because the Chinese government gets all the bling blings from the tourist. If you try going into the antonymous of Tibet you will see how Tibetans are oppressed by Chinese. First of all, they won't even give you visa to go into those areas of Tibet because they don't want you to take videos and photos. They will only allow you into areas of Tibet where everyone looks happy. Please don't get misleaded by what the Chinese government wants you to see.
But the human right is under the feet 👣 it’s only your observation that it looks so nice but the real suffering of Tibetans you can’t see . No human rights for Tibetans , Try to look for a single Photo of His Holliness the Dalai Lama . You won’t find . It’s prohibited 🚫
I travelled to Lahsa several years ago, but couldn't visit the Potala Palace due to sever high-altitude-sickness, and I flied to Chengdu on the second day after visiting Jokhang Temple and Norbulingka. Very glad to see the inside part of the Potala Palace from your video. Tibet was in a slave society before 1951, and you can imagine how much fortune, resources and labour slaves the former Tibetan ruling class cost for building such a massive palace.
There was no record of there ever being slaves in Tibet. However, there were servants throughout Tibet which means they were compensated for their labor.

I'm surprised to see the dumplings in local restaurants of Lhasa.
They are called Momo. Popular in Tibetan and Nepali cuisine. Incidentally, it is also a racial slur hurled by the Indians against the people from the north eastern region. 😔

The Tibetans are talented musically. They love to sing and dance. They learn to dance as kids and everyone knows the traditional dance moves.
It’s interesting that they also call dumplings momos. I live in the US and only learned about memos from a Nepal restaurant.

Expressway 318 is well-known for its hush condition as well as gorgeous views along the route. So it is thought to be the most difficult route in China for drivers to challenge themselves! Highly suggest you guys to buy a car in China and experience the difficulty and beauty of expressway 318❤❤❤

Tibet is the plateau region needs the constant supply of materials in the Central Plains to survive, if there is no supply of these materials Tibetans will not exist, early all ran, because the plateau can only eat a kind of highland barley crop production is very low, Tibet's lack of resources is very severe, simply can not feed too many people, the plateau environment a common cold will kill you.
