Notting Hill Carnival is the biggest community-led street celebration on the planet and one of Britain’s iconic annual events. .
Notting Hill Carnival is a huge, free street festival celebrating the Caribbean community. It's Europe's biggest street festival, and the world's second largest carnival (Rio takes first place) - bringing bangin' beats, lashings of street food (jerk chicken is a solid fave), razzle-dazzle costumes and utterly fabulous parade processions.
For the first time since 2019, Carnival returns to being an in-person event over the August bank holiday weekend, bringing people back together and showing off the very best of our vibrant local culture. London’s diverse heritage is one of its greatest strengths and each year this annual celebration brings people of all backgrounds together in a colourful celebration of local culture.
Supporting and celebrating our community is a year-round commitment and a cornerstone of our work as councils. Carnival can have a huge impact on those who live and work in the area and the Councils of Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster work with the organiser and partners to support our residents, providing services and facilities to keep disruption to a minimum. We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding.

@@Optimus7519 a terrible one, went in 2018 it was supposed to be “family day” if by family day you mean flashing, cussing having public s3x. The place was also disgusting, the toilets were a sight to behold because that’s how disgusting they were. There were quite a few tussles. I felt someone put their hand in my backpack trying to steal something when I passed them
So yeah terrible terrible experience and not to mention the murders and MANY assault cases we’re seeing

Saw a tv program about the area where this goes through the residence board up there homes because it’s such a friendly event lol
MANY arrests and 1 person stabbed to death, fat women dancing around half naked. Should children be anywhere near this vile event?
