THANK YOU, MY DEAREST BEST FRIEND & BROTHER OF BROTHERS, FOR ALWAYS SHARING!!! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL HYMN AS ALWAYS & ABSOLUTELY LOVE BOTH OF YOU & YOUR MUSIC!!! ALWAYS KEEP SHARING!!!🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
@@CliftonHicksbanjo an old one by Will Thompson, 1880, based on Mark 10:49. The actual account in the Bible is so wonderful, because a completely helpless blind man is graciously healed by Jesus. The man calls out in desperation for Jesus to have mercy on him, knowing that this is probably his only chance. It brings tears to my eyes how the Lord stops for this one begger and freely and happily has mercy on him. All he wanted was to see, but I believe the man received more than only his eyesight. I believe the Lord gave him his spiritual eyesight in this moment, because the man followed him immediately. An even greater blessing than any physical healing.

We sang that one a couple Sundays ago. Blessed to have a musical director with a fondness for the older hymns.
