    I purchased one for myself as a commuter and one for my elderly mother. Both LX+IV. 2 wonderful cars for less than the price of one expensive alternative.

    Thank you for your thoughtful and candid review. Pretty decent little car for the money. Sorry to see this model on the way out.

      Thank you for watching. Kia will be releasing slightly larger K3 in 2024 but no price or market specific specs have been released yet.

    Why are so many of the most affordable cars being suddenly discontinued? They say they aren't selling ---- I don't get it --- like, aren't there tons of low-income people who would prefer to pay less for a car?

      They dont make.enough profit for manufacturers or dealers. RIO has $70 mark up for dealers plus 3% hold back. So on 20k dealer makes $670 when sold at sticker

      @@turmericcurcu Then why did they make them in the first place?

      I know! People either don't want electric cars or they can't afford them!

      @@MattTheCarguy I don't believe these cars have such a low profit... I bought a Mitsubish Mirage for 19k last year (a 2023)... in Maine I was told they only made a couple 100 bucks.... but dealers in Florida have a whole bunch of them listed today for 14500,15000 and 16000.... and they will throw in a forever warranty.

      @@Have.An.AmicoDay Mitsubishi has incentives while most other manufacturers dobt. Spoke with a friend who is a manager at Mitsubishi said he will "blow them out" if he has to. Plus they always try to make up the difference in the finance office. Extwnded warranty, rate, other products.
      When i worked at Honda and Hyundai we had about $600 mark up in Fits and about $200 in Accents. Without incentives no salesperson will promote a product that does not make them $$.

    • @MattTheCarguy
      @MattTheCarguy  11 месяцев назад +1

      Not sure but as long as they would fit in the wheel wells shouldnt be a problem
