The America and the Independence are powerful battlecruisers. With a Columbia or a Constitution to hold the center and attract fire, they are a good battlefleet start. The Liberty is not as convincing but has its niche as a cheap fleetcarrier for small size games.
Huge Union recap!!! but I have to disagree with the idea that Dead President with Pipeworks upgrade mus be build/look as Yorktown, they are and remain Lexington Heavy Cruiser. You just need substitute the gun turret with a custom made "Hydrophone Relay" like the one present on the Valiant.
At first, I liked only Mecha and Flyer from Union... But now, I must admit there is a large choice of different look and profils, with really interesting ones. Thanks for the review
The Existence of the 6 Electocannon Dead Presidents makes me think a sprue with more than 1 Electrocannon is in the pipeline somewhere. A 9-Sprue unit is pretty out of the ordinary for Warcradle. Also I think the 6-Electrocannon version still uses the elctrocannon hull, & puts some kind of radar-dish in place of the Gun battery. Possible this will also be on that theorised future sprue.
Electrocannon batteries are so powerful, especially in pipeworks fleet with sustained, that it is usually enough only link 3 batteries (they are 10(6)/8(5)/8(5)), that is 18 dice if you make 2 attaks (alway 1 battery per ship to activate packhunter), you get 2 attacks 21 and 18 dice with Arc, sustained and devastating of course even at long range and you ignore most defences including shields and guardian generator, both of these attack have good chance to do double citadel on A7, C14 ship, that is 12 damage in total, for A8, C16 I would actually recomend splitting 26 (8+3x5+3) to 13, aimnig for double citadel on the first one and crit on the second one (i should do 8 damage and 2 crits total + some disorders from Arc), should be enough to cripple most flaghips. Combining everything into one attack is usually an overkill.
On warcradles site under each faction is a like information dossier. It's written in universe from the perspective of a different factions intelligence network about the history and current lore of the faction. Very cool and helpful

You are very right. The Liberty is indeed underwhelming compared to an Enterprise, but I still prefer it to a couple of Roanokes.

You might be onto something! I am indeed starved for electrocannons. Luckily they look very similar to classical HGBs so you can proxy easily.
