This show was meant to highlight only, not to give you a full tour of a country, no documentary in the world has ever explored a country through and through so don't be so close minded.

@mexicano5021 in fact, there are not 16 million people, the last census reported 22.900 million (2010)... so you're right! this vid is really old!

...continued... they also have much more vibrant, friendly, modern and open cultural patterns and ways of life than in Central America - and I do believe that Mexico City is VERY different from all South American major cities although they share some of the same problems in terms of pollution, urban violence and overpopulation. (like any other city in the developing world) But Mexico is no more like São Paulo than Lagos in Nigeria. They have very little in common...

Michael visited Mexico in 1997, so it is not that old.

Well, I beg to differ, and would still claim you are the ignorant part here. Central America is trailing behind South America in so many senses. When I speak of the "rest of Latin America" I am not referring to neighbouring 3rd world countries (Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras or Nicaragua) that are even worse than Mexico! I am talking about economic powerhouses on the southern cone as Chile, Argentina and Brazil were the economies are not only much more developed than in Central America but...

WTF!!! I used to live in Mexico City, and in my opinion it is one of the ugliest in the world. The city is covered in grey, is polluted and has almost no green spaces apart from a few parks. An absolute horror to live in..
