Or was that specifically set up in the case of a buzzer beater to win the championship? I know the streamers falling is standard every year but I don't remember the fireworks display every year. The fireworks and streamers come down every year. I can't remember when it started, but I know it's been since 2012.
@aaronreece13 it actually started in 2004 when uconn won but really kicked off when unc won in 2005. You can check for unc vs illinois 05 ending
Unfortunately they stopped the streamer cannons and idk why but it would mix well with the teams confetti colors being blasted
