    That looks like the way to go for adjusting that oil level, thank you for your review.

      The only downside with these tools is the rubber in the syringe will wear out at some point but the syringes are cheap and can be bought from other suppliers. I use these all the time when rebuilding forks.

    Motion Pro makes great stuff. Have been using a Motion Pro Chain Alignment Tool for years. Have had a couple of bike that the alignment marks on the swing arm were off. So with the tool its quick and easy to see if the alignment is perfect.

      They make some good motorcycle-specific tools. I'm looking into their chain breaker and riveting tool. I've seen the one you're talking about. Reasonable price at $14.

    i just installed race tech springs on my 250 ninja and totally needed this. i used a tape measure 😂great vid

      A tape measure works but...it's messier and takes longer. I used to do the same thing before I picked this up. I've used it quite a bit now and it's still working great.

    Nice and accurate tool. I am really interested in it. Just a question because I am not an expert at suspensions maintenance: how can you know which is the right fork pipe position when you put tool flange on it, especially repeating pumping process to allow fork “drinking” oil and bleeding air?
    Thank you

    • @2WR
      @2WR  3 года назад

      Need to follow your service manual but in most cases it will be with the fork fully compressed with no spring. Also need to insure all the air is bleed out before measuring.

      That way makes sense: fork pipe position it’s always the same. You keep compressed it at the end of its travel. Footage didn’t return it so well.
      I can add that it’s also very important clamping fork straight vertically to avoid
      bad filling.
      Thanks a lot sir.

    How are you double checking? When you pump again your forks the oil would go down (and still gurgle) and now you're too low.

    when changing to a new fork oil, do we have to rinse out the tubes? I've seen some videos where they rinse it out in a shop sink/tub.

    not sure if i would want to hold the cap down and use one hand for the syringe; maybe i would spent a little more for a better tool..hm.

    hahaha i love motion pro.....and this would be a tad bit easier than my Tony chachere's injector and a flemsy rubber 2 n a half foot drinking draw i got from a themepark one year. its a bitch to get the fluid right but boy if u get to much the handy dandy riggins comes out
