Just to offset all the negative comments i want to throw my 2 cents worth. My wife and I have owned 8 different Mazdas since 2007. 3 Mazda 3's, 2 Mazda 6's and 3 Mazda CX 5's . Currently we own a 2017 Mazda 6 Signature in Crystal Blue with white Nappa leather and lease a 2023 CX 5 Signature in Rhodium White. My wife and I both love our cars and like the fact that we never had a recall on any of our vehicles . I personally see no prblems with the current line up of Mazda models .
Really wish Platinum Quartz was available in the Signature trim. That exterior with the brown leather and signature wheels would be a beautiful combination.
Hey Jonathan - love the videos! Bought this exact model (minus the roof rails) in October. First Mazda and I'm LOVING IT!! You're so right - the Platinum Quartz with the gloss back trim and wheels looks so nice together. Thanks for doing what you do - I love watching 👍
I love this car so much specifically that two colors I'm confused which one I would choose if I can afford it, previously I like the Soul red crystal but this platinum quartz with gloss black accents is so appealing. 🏎️🏎️🏎️
Question which mazda cx5 do you think personally is more reliable the natural aspirated four cylinders engine or the four cylinders turbo engine what is your choice as a pro please respond looking forward keep up the good work, stay safe.
Black wheels are great, but wheel shops do not take their time when maintenance has to be completed. I've had my wheels re-finished 3 times and just gave up.
@@MoJoeee just geared to the Subaru crowd honestly. CX-5 is the city car and CX-50 is the city driver who likes to explore, hence the plastic wheel arches vs CX-5 being painted.
Not for me too much gloss black on areas exposed to road harshness. It will not age well. Piano black sucks on interiors, couldn't imagine the amount of scratches this will have after a year on the road. Roof racks are subjective don't get them unless you know you'll use it, those things will whistle loudly in all cars while cruising down the highway. Lastly the turbo, if you're planning to keep the vehicle long term do yourself a favor and skip the turbo, it doesn't improve mpg either don't be fooled
Gloss black around wheels will be a nightmare. The gloss black on my cx-30 doors is a bitch to keep clean, always shows fingerprints and a terrible design by mazda.
You’re 100% correct. Gloss black is always subject to scratching and does not look good over time. It’s on the dash, the outer side door strips, and I wish they’d get rid of it altogether instead of adding more.
Why is Mazda behind all other car manufacturers without having a full digital touchscreen, it’s 2025 why would anyone buy this suv when there’s all the other manufacturers offering full digital touchscreens, wake up Mazda . Definitely a nice looking suv though.

I love my 2023 Premium Plus CX-5, but I’m just not in love with this model he’s showing with all of the Gloss black Ugh.
As a lifelong Toyota owner, Mazda has some of the best looking vehicles on the road.
Really wish Platinum Quartz was available in the Signature trim. That exterior with the brown leather and signature wheels would be a beautiful combination.
Very classy looking color, although the soul red crystal is still my number one favorite!😎
The Platinum Quartz is sharp. I just traded in my beloved '21 CX30 and got a Rhodium White CX5 Preferred and was strongly considering the Platinum.

Have the platinum quartz in P plus Sweet ride 👍🏻
Would have bought the Platinum Quartz color if it was available with parchment interior. So done with black upholstery, too hot!

Yes, Johnny it really caught my eye.
This is the number 1 spec for CX-5
Hey Jonathan. Gorgeous vehicle. Maybe get a tripod so you can show us the lights moving.

I hope in the future of Mazda will get better gas milage I've a 24 Cx5 Turbo Premium and I get 26.5 combine
Dear Mazda, Turbo Signature CX-5 in Platinum Quartz with the Red Leather interior. 🙏🏽
I’d take it without a turbo for engine longevity. Especially now that the CX5 doesn’t have awful stop start and cylinder deactivation.
I own a 24 signature CX5 and I can't for the life of me.Figure out what the vents are in the cargo area near the seat pulls!
Same interior since 2017.

Does it have wireless android?
I like the black style but not in that color, I have the CX-5 Preferred in Platinum Quartz. Nice video

What is the one single reason Mazda doesn’t offer Pano, full digital cockpit, massaging seat in the CX-5?
Need the option with no chrome at all.
What is the logic of Mazda keeping the CX 5 and the CX 50?
CX-50 sales volume is a 5th of the what the CX-5 is
@@Brandonjamlarue gotcha. Makes sense. Just seems redundant to have the 50 then

@@Brandonjamlarue very good description, although most of us won’t be doing any serious off-roading in our CX 50s
They each have different demographic appeal for that size class vehicle for the most part.
Beautiful but needs to be redone ! I love cx 60 ! Is getting old ! Change it redesigned
Too much gloss black for me Ugh……I’m not a fan. But I am a fan of the CX-5 and I’m on my third lease, love it!

Gloss black wheels are ideal to showcase break dust. To each their own 😅
Definitely hard to keep clean, but beautiful.

maybe because we like the old styles
