I just started playing uniclr myself. I pick Vatista because to me, she is like the equivalent of a Rachel Alucard from BBCF for Uniclr. Similar high skill ceiling type characters... know what i mean
I just started playing uniclr and chose vatista . I'm having such a hard time even doing the bnb combos with gem charges. Any advice ? I'm assuming just use the mission option
my advice is to try the mission mode first, especially the mission 4-1. mission 4-1 will give you taste of the muscle memory required for most of Vatista combos, so I highly recommend to complete that first. If you can fluently do the mission 4-1 combo, you can do anything Vatista will ask of you. If you have a hard time doing that mission, read this. It has guide of how to do the missions docs.google.com/document/d/1jL6KpFophEvuI3pZmivRTuHPb9l8qjyhKHQbd2qsYJ4/edit
also try watching this too ruclips.net/video/v7RoznZ0mss/видео.html it's an old UNIEL video but you can still learn the Vat basic blockstring and neutrals from that video
There's one thing I don't understand about it and it's the fact that you don't need to charge for the same number of frames to perform the same move twice in a row. It seems that you only needed to charge half the frames in order to do it again which seems reallys strange to me. IE : You charged twice for roughly 27f in order to perform a move that requires 54 f but you managed to perform it again right after by only charging for ~26. Does it mean that you LITTERALY only need half the frames in order to do it again or is there something I'm misunderstanding ?
Charge time required for ball and laser is not 54F, but 53F (I mistyped the frame data as 54F on the guide, so sorry for the confusion). Anyway, for how the double shot partition work is to split it into 3 part. [Part 1+Part 2 = first shot] and [Part 2+Part 3 = second shot.] IE : 27F+26F+27F. The first shot requires 27F+26F which in total is 53F, so for the second shot you only need to charge for 27F because you already charge the 2nd partition which is the 26F one. The second partition (26F) is both used to charge for first shot and second shot
@@bblleepp2757 Thank you very much for answering so quickly , so if I get it right , the second partition is actually conserved even though you just performed a special ?
@@bblleepp2757 This explanation really drove it home for me and helped me understand. I've been able to get a few off in training mode now. Thanks for the help!

I genuinely reccomend watching this at .75 or .50 speed. It'll save you from having to rewing a whole bunch to read.

Have you got any better?
How’d you do the B Drill partition at the end of the video?
nice vid ❤
Sorry for asking, I tried to press but it didn't work.
Does it only need 25-28F?
Or more than that as well.

This feels like bug abusing but I think it’s actually intentionally coded into the game. Learn something new everyday
Yea its a niche technique thats been in fighting games since like 3rd strike
