I admit that bucket is very nice. But I think the smoothness comes from the man operating the machine. Awesome job Chris as always. God Bless you and the rest of the family brother.
"Always start on your downhill side." In less than a minute I learned something from one of Chris's videos. And the little groove for the pipe bell/collar; it's part of the letsdig18 finesse.
My grandfather bough a plot of land in northern Quebec un the early 50s. He worked by himself all summer in order to clear the forest and build his family a house. He felled every tree using an axe. Videos like these make me remember him!
All I can say Chris is that your one hell of a machine operator. It's great to see such a young guy that doesn't care how many hours in a day there is. You deserve all the best with the new machine. You just keep on growing and growing. You make it look so easy doing a lot of the work by yourself. Where did Tim go?? Again, all the best for one of the hardest working guys on RUclips.
On a recent video Chris mentions that Tim went on to a job with a larger firm. It's difficult to move up when the company consists of the owner (Uncle John) and Chris.
I’ve been around heavy equipment my whole life. I think I’ve seen most everything you do in person, except the tree removal (that’s awesome to watch with the right attachment). I can honestly say you are a great operator…smooth and deliberate. Your camera angles are phenomenal. I can’t help but get caught up in it. Great stuff Chris.
WOW!!!!! Now that's amazing. Godzilla uses just enough pressure to pull toothpicks out of the ground. I've been watching your videos over the past couple of weeks and I'm just amazed that you can have such delicate care using the bucket and thumb. Great job and videos.
You're just an artist with big heavy equipment. The Picasso I love how you make the ponds and creeks look like painting when you are done. A great job well done again. Keep up the great work, Thanks
Beautiful .. Wish I had a place like that and Bass in the pond, Put some Bluegills in there to feed the bass.. and a little boat.. now that's what I'm talking about..Good Job.
I love the way the smoke billows out of the bucket at night. Makes it look like a fire-breathing beast! And the way it eats up those trees is pretty awesome to watch. Always look forward to another video, Chris!
I don't know about ya'll but I could sit and watch that big Volvosarus eat his way through a stand of trees.. Just mesmerizing watching that beast chomp his way through the trees... Great delicate finesse with the boathouse... another awesome video Chris...
Chris I was a road builder in md, this is the song I always sang about my help, Just when I needed you most, when you are swamped with work, but you are a worker you will be ok, with a little help from the Good Lord, keep on rollin
Now thats what I'm talking about! Cuttin down trees with the big new bucket! Hearing all that wood crunching and metal clanking! So relaxing! Awesome filming there!👍
I like the long camera shot used while removing trees; it provided excellent sounds of the trees snapping. The bucket and claw working to move the debris about looked like something out of a science fiction movie: “The Tree Eating Dinosaurs of the 21st Century.” Of course, the fire was quite fantastic-excellent content Chris!
Elliptical pipe works well with minimal fills in driveways. Looks cool too! The corrugated pipe or any pipe at 2% fills to the spring line with silt after new construction. Then concern about concrete collars when the water chases the sand. Stand pipe get a cage? Beavers! That's extra!
I love watching these videos. Real craftsman / artist at work. Shows some amazing dexterity and finesse with the accuracy of the work. Would love to see a video breaking down how the controls on the digger work.
Man Chris looks awesome bud, no watched every video on this site, inclu8 this entire video, cool series, loving these long videos, cool to see someone like yourself take pride in your work, cleans up everything nice, no cutting corners, thanks for sharing Chris, look forward to the next site, later on.
It seems that your big bucket allows you to get the trees down faster than when you switch to the root bucket. that probably because the big bucket has a better fulcrum and the inertia of the mass helps break through roots more efficiently. Having a larger area to pick up trees also makes the big bucket more efficient. I would leave the root bucket back in the equipment yard.
buddy i tell ya,the reason you rock!!,is u are humble.even thow you are a beast ,one of the best in the world more then likely.an you dont leave a bad taste in folks mouths to be around or listen to,ive ran equipment all my life im 43 i was about 8 when i was farming with a 100 horse tractor an then at 18 i went to work running iron
Very nice work Chris. Maybe next time show us a before and after picture for comparison, at least that’s what I do with my landscape jobs to show the difference at the end of the project. Like how the left side of the pond just disappears into the woods, just looks like an infinite edge, gives it’s a different look than a visible pond dam all the way around.
Watching you work, I’m so envious. Anyone that goes back to the job at 10pm to keep progress going must really love it. Your skills with the material are impressive glad I found your channel.
Had to laugh when you mentioned "Someone crazy enough to use their tractor " on that slope....yep....that's me with my old Massey 165!!!!😁 Thanks again Chris!
Enjoyed this project. A lot going on and some drama. Really like the drone flyovers. Shows you what you have in your head when you start a project and how it ends. Nice job.
the best (untreated) wood for dock/boathouse poles are Mimosoideae wood cause its very hard and doesnt get rot or fungi and Larch cause it seals itself layer by layer wehen soaked wet so it takes a long time to rot to the core cause it only ever rots at the surface if they dont get damaged by floating ice they can hold up for up to 60 years without being more than just at the surface level compromised most important is that the top of the pole is covered so no moisture gets in along the fibers they both are also great for long living fence poles
I love watching you tear down trees especially when you set the camera outside away from where you are working it looks like a giant T REX eating trees it is so cool... Keep up the good work. Love your channel ❤ I watch you all the time..
I thought you did an outstanding job turning what was basically a swamp pond into a usable recreation area for the land owner to enjoy for years to come. I'd venture to say your work increased the value of the property 3 or 4 times what it cost to have the work done 😁😎
Great Video Man !! Little over an hour , really enjoyed that one Chris ! Man, at the 38:00 min mark , that machine of yours looks like a damn T-Rex or something !! ripping down that last set of trees ! She's a Beast for sure , that New Bucket set up is really , really nice man ! House lot / Pond, turned out real nice an clean...Great Job as always Chris !! Have a Great evening.....On too the Next !!
Chris, here in the Covid lockdown state of Victoria Australia we book our burn off with the fire authorities so they know if someone phone in. Saves wasted call outs
Looking good Buddy, I kinda liked that old boathouse , I was sad to see it go. Also that parachute guy flies over me when I am fishing at Moores Pond just about every week.
Wow, imagine having your own house at a place such as this, what a nice life that would be! And I liked the night shots and when you were cleaning out the small trees, it looks like the digger is some kind of dino munching trees or a big fire monster :)
I love these videos. A man who knows his job is work the fair price. And your skill and precision with that machine? I'd almost let you use it and a straight razor to shave my wedding tackle. Thanks.
I admit that bucket is very nice. But I think the smoothness comes from the man operating the machine. Awesome job Chris as always. God Bless you and the rest of the family brother.

Chris is a landscape sculptor. He's got a vision before he starts and the talent to get him where he wants to be.
My grandfather bough a plot of land in northern Quebec un the early 50s. He worked by himself all summer in order to clear the forest and build his family a house. He felled every tree using an axe. Videos like these make me remember him!

Another awesome job Chris. The people in your area are lucky to have such a talented operator that they can call on.
One hour plus! Made my day!! Keep those cameras 🎥 rolling. We’re never bored.
Right? My day isn't complete without a Letsdig18 video.
You did a great job on that pond. It looks great. Will look even better when the grass grows.
That giant flat boulder is the perfect spot for a picnic table. Great view of the pond, and you can get 25, 50 and 100 yard targets from there easily.
You must be called a Landscape artist, a pleasure to watch you beautify this piece of land!!!!!!!!!
He is so smooth at controling the equipment it's so satisfying
I agree.
Beautiful .. Wish I had a place like that and Bass in the pond, Put some Bluegills in there to feed the bass.. and a little boat.. now that's what I'm talking about..Good Job.
Drone Footage gives you a Real Appreciation of the Layout and Great Job you Completed. Thanks!
I like it! Beautiful and serene. I'll bet the deer and critters will enjoy it also! 👍
I love the way the smoke billows out of the bucket at night. Makes it look like a fire-breathing beast! And the way it eats up those trees is pretty awesome to watch. Always look forward to another video, Chris!

I like how you snapped the tree @42:05 and grabbed the stump in 1 motion. A true expert right there! Lol
Keep up the beautiful work.

As much fun as it is to do a job, the satisfaction of actually COMPLETING it can't be matched! Great job!
Wow the outside shot at 38 min, really shows the size of the bucket and thumb. Almost as big as the cab. Looks great Chris. As always very nice work.

Wow!! You are opening my eyes to the fun of having a HUGE TONKA TOY!!!!!!!!
It is fascinating to watch you at work. I am amazed at just how deft your control is of such a powerful machine.

Im in bendigo
I am in Officer. I am on 11 acres and allowed to burn off with some restrictions.
Very nice pond looks amazing an love the night time fire.
Now that's a fire! Another great result Chris.
I heard a saying once " I've got 200 acres some heavy equipment and a really good alibi"
Looking good Buddy, I kinda liked that old boathouse , I was sad to see it go. Also that parachute guy flies over me when I am fishing at Moores Pond just about every week.
Enjoyed the video bro, the drone footage shows it will look real purdy once the house is built and grass all grown. Ya'll stay safe
Seeing that bucket from a distance. That thing is huge!!
Wow, imagine having your own house at a place such as this, what a nice life that would be!
And I liked the night shots and when you were cleaning out the small trees, it looks like the digger is some kind of dino munching trees or a big fire monster :)
Man that machine looks like some kind of deep sea exploration rig at night. Awesome!
Never thought that would be such interesting! Very well done.
I love these videos. A man who knows his job is work the fair price. And your skill and precision with that machine? I'd almost let you use it and a straight razor to shave my wedding tackle. Thanks.
I like the look when you track it in to hold the seeds, has to take a lot of time!
Chris they are redoing all the water lines an sewage under my street here in Ohio.. There is a beautiful Volvo EC380E out front. Thing is huge
