    • @WilliamStewart1

    • @jadebylund7061
      @jadebylund7061 2 года назад +21

      Jeeps, broncos, trucks etc destroy trails much more than any side x side. They way 2 to 3 times more and are wider. Where I live in the desert southwest I can always tell when a group of jeeps have been on the trail cuz its rutted out and washboarded

    • @motoxman541

      I have a 2022 rzr turbo R and I live in southwestern Pennsylvania. I ride with a group of friends and we frequent Hatfield McCoy trails several times and year. I can tell you that we ride around 200 miles in two and a half days and our average speed is less than 20 MPH. We aren’t ripping up anything. Trails get ripped up when it’s muddy and at that point anything that’s on them makes ruts. I own over 200 aces and I rip across my fields and I don’t make any ruts. We road Sand Hollow In Utah this past June it was mostly lose sand and hard pack and rocks. You can’t make ruts there. We ride almost every weekend somewhere and only run into ruts where there is puddles.

      @@jadebylund7061 a sxs is on a mud trail driven by knuckle heads. A jeep is driven daily. A real rig is trailered in and not driven by a knuckle head that wondered why it broke

      @luckytrapper7656 2 года назад +7

      I agree with Cletus. The trails that I ride here in Wisconsin do not allow jeeps, broncos, or trucks. It's all 4 wheelers and SxS. These trails are so torn up you can't really enjoy a ride in a Polaris ranger with the junk suspension they have. Just about every sport SxS I see is being driven like its ars is on fire. The results--- torn up trails that only select SxS can handle.

    Wait until states put more laws and restrictions on side by sides because they tear up the fire roads or seasonal roads. Its Too much. maybe for out in the deserts it would be more useful. The off road and snowmobile industry is getting ruined with all of the outrageous needs and wants of the yuppie people who are the only ones who can afford it. Now you have people buying these machines that have never rode them before. Too much power and people are getting killed. Most people that are buying these machines now a days have no idea on how to maintain these machines. With all this technology its getting like a car or truck where you need a computer or special tools just to do an oil change or change a spark plug. I hate how the outdoor power sports scene has gotten so commercialized. 20 years ago and beyond, the off road and snowmobile sport was for the die hards and people who had passion and respect for the industry. Now, not so much. I hate to even ride on the weekends anymore with the citidiots on the trails. Its too the point that I will ride during the weekdays when there is less traffic on the trails.
    All and all, thanks dirt trax for the reviews. I would love a job in this industry. I still have a huge passion for it no matter what. Ride safe!

And hell it's larger then one of my first cars a 1988 Toyota SR5 GT. The Price tag could go though. Might as well buy a Jeep with 300hp. Least Can drive it on the road and no trailer at all. ok Polaris 2,100 lbs 225 hp - sand car 2400lbs 700 hp . hmmm doesn't really seem as much of a beast as everyone is making it out to be . but it is still pretty cool !

      That's what I was thinking. This thing needs 225 HP to push its 2144 pound dry weight around. Yikes, that's a big girl.

    Now take it to the dunes and tell me if it stills has enough power. Way different feel in the soft sand. Recommend Imperial Sand dunes.

    Now for them to update the sportsman frame and driveline issues, that sxs should be road legal with that kind of power 😂

    Are you going to do a complete review?
    What about low range and rock crawling? Comfort? It is hot to drive or did they insulate the heat? Are the seats supportive? Is it loud? Leg room? ect?

      I have driven one on high speed trails in Michigan and I’m one of those 80 plus mph guys that most complain about and no it really cool inside compared to other rzr’s. That’s actually my favorite thing about it, it’s not crazy fast from my standards, it’s doesn’t handle crazy, good but nothing like omg but it is crazy comfortable!! Has to be the most smooth, quiet, high speed SxS I’ve ever driven. I’ll have one at some point, think it would be perfect with a turbo.👍

      Lol yep, enough isn’t ever enough in my world. Kinda sucks, if it isn’t under the 5-6 lbs per horsepower I get bored.😎

      @@tnross23 Cool. Comfort is good when we're spending hours on a long trail. Polaris has been upping performance for sure. Now let's make them comfy.
