Loving how competitive both Central Divisions are so far. Hoping they can keep it up, it's been amazing to watch!

I love how good both the Tigers and Royals have been so far this season.
So Detroit for the past 5 years from my memory is a very late explosive team. Not in innings but in the season. If they can keep this up and make it to July-September where they typically like to heat up on offense consistently, this may be a dangerous team heading into October if they make it.
They just need to avoid any losing streaks like last year. Keep winning series and they should be able to play in the postseason
They need a proven cleanup hitter.
So yeah we always do well when it's hot outside. But we also tend to fall off the wagon as soon the temp dips below 50. Which could start in September up here in Michigan. Hopefully all these young kids got that fire in their veins. Makes sense that the young kids could be more resistant and play better in the cold than old men that got used to a thermostat set at 70.
I love skubals mindset change from last yr. Whereas i feel like he woukd get fucked up and frustrated by getting hit off now he gets that super competitive mindset and dials in. The boys looked good today. LFG TIGERS

That was cute how the first 2 batters resulted in a run for KC then Skubal literally dominated the next 7 innings.
When you have a lefty with the kind of stuff Tarik has they're unhittable.
All 5 pitches Skubal throws opponents batting average below .190, incredible.

The AL Central is going to a possible 3 game race. CLE, DET and KC have been good this. CLE is probably the best team in the division, but don't sleep on DET and KC. Congrats on the win DET 👍.

Skubal I think, barring injuring or something unforseen, is gonna have the type of season the tigers knew he was capable of having every year when they signed him. Skubal is the closest pitcher to being another justin verlander, and I think Skubal will win the cy young award this year.
