- California really only has one tank museum within it's large borders, and it's Tankland. Some may call it a junkyard, but it's the only tank museum I've been to, having M4 Shermans, M60 Pattons, M5 Stuarts, and much more! Come check it out with the links below.

Not the only tank museum in California. Patton museum is on the east side of Indio on the 10 freeway
Ture, but if this Patton Museum is the one that I'm thinking of, it's out in the middle pf nowhere and doesn't have many tanks on display.
theres another one in fremont
@@Riceball01 It is out in the middle of nowhere...it has about 4 or 5 tanks.
Ah, you beat me to it…. Patton’s a cool museum to visit 👌
I have a tank
It’s quite septic though
ditching school for some tanks? now thats passion at its finest
Just a man and his tanks...
Nice! As a former tanker myself I appreciate this. I would go but no way in hell i’m going to El Monte lol
It's in good old South El Monte, CA 91733. Home is where the heart is
It's a wonderful tank museum. Been there for years due to the passion of the dedicated people running it.
The Chieftain was here. He did 2 episodes from this armor museum.
I remember when this museum was on Slauson Ave in Commerce, next to the 710 Freeway. Back in 1978/79.
Cool vid. Cute couple.
Been there when I was a kid for my birthday and I was so excited because I always wanted to go there always drove by and always wanted to see how much and type of tanks they had it was so much fun for me
The turret on some tanks are turned backwards for easier transportation and there’s a little bipod thing for holding the gun at the back
Man, this channel got me into tanks and I am still building tanks even after you quit. The first time I saw nim was after I watched Fury. When I started building tanks on my channel you announced that you would be quitting tanks. It would make my day if you could do a stop motion with your tanks even if it’s 20 seconds long. You are the reason I have a passion for what I do. Looking forward to more tank videos in the future!
I will one day, don’t worry
I was just there today! It's one Hell of a value! Lots of unique and interesting vehicles. I recommend it.
Girl going to tank museum , she's a keeper.
"I'm not that big of a nerd." Me feeling shamed because I know every single variant because of chieftain, Bovington, arsenals, war thunder etc.
No shame, I just lack skill
I remember going there as a kid for my birthday I was really young but I remember ALOT of it I think I’m going to visit again in the future
That Higgins boat deserves to be restored.
Look at all the HISTORY!
Thank you for letting me know about this! I grew-up in this area pre-Y2K, and for sure I will be visiting!
Who doesn't love tanks??? I've been there and it's dope, there's also a tank club that meets every 2nd saturday of the month.
cool vid, I live in New Zealand and the nearest tank museum is in northern Australia :')
i have been here before and saw an m-56 scorpion
I was expecting to see some other tanks but not expecting to see a m60 tank +I'm addicted to it
Another good tank museum in California is the Patton tank museum, planes of fame has a tank too but they only bring it out once a year
That’s cool I’ve seen the germans Russian tanks American tanks and planes
Not to be mean or showing off)
"Pea shooter" is a pack 75,portable and extremely valuable artillery piece
Years ago I was friends with the owners. I gave them trucks. One was a very rare 1937 GMC 6x6, the prototype of the common WWII 6x6.
Been there a few times, good collection
The Patton Museum in the desert has tanks.
That place is awesome I love it
burning passion for tanks , digging this video rn❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks Taco
I live like 20 minutes from here
AWESOME 🇺🇸!
I didn't know that this is the only one southern cali my grandma lives 5 minutes from there and I always beg my dad to go everytime go pass but never had the chance🥲
Oh I went here for one of my birthdays!
He definitly like tanks
There’s one near lake Elsinore as well
I don’t think those 70+mm cannons are California legal
Tank turrets usually have their guns turned to the rear for ease of transportation and/or storage, as it reduces the overall length of the tank. I don't know why they didn't traverse the guns back to the front when putting them on display, especially when it seems like there was plenty of room for them to do so.
Sweet, it's 31 minutes from where I live. Added points for Girls Und Panzer music.
I swear I heard him say he wants to make another cardboard tank. Maybe after school when he has time he can do that kind of stuff.
4:14 four eyes got them glasses extra thicc
Bro said the Higgins boat was "torn to shreds", I don't think he knows about the others...
Time packed my stuff to see some TANKS
That guy totally looks like me when I first went there
how's the weather down there ma southern Californian neighbor?
Hot as always

i live like 10 mins from this
2:20
Thanks for the clip, I 've been in the area and wished I had known I was so close to those TANKS, I must visit someday. I went to the Aberdeen Proving Ground which had an extensive tank collection, but Obama sold off all the tanks.
Something I would love to see is you remastering your old tank designs! It would be so cool plus I kinda need tanks, and I’m sure many others do, for my stop motion! I love your old tutorial videos!
6:03 war thunder?
Patton tank museum on the i 40
I Drove 3 hours to go there and then it rained and they closed😭
my wt flashbacks
Can you climb into any of the tanks?
No, it’s viewing only
Ww1 tank :)
I need to dress up like BRAD PITT by the Sherman get my pic. MAKE MY FURY!
6:17 that’s a weird looking ha-go
It was a replica apparently
Either it was a movie prop or it was used as a training vehicle for identification
It was a movie prop for the “Windtalkers”
The only thing sadder than this little freak’s commentary is that these wonderful vehicles are in such poor repair. Jeeze, dump some paint on them and stop the rust!!! And El Monte? If it were in a better area, it would be a lot more popular…
Tank needs unite !!!
I been there bought a small tiger 1 replica it's cool ima go again they got m4s halftracks mostly all American it's cool
When a gf comes to a military museum with you, get a ring on her finger now or regret it for life!
