fun fact, the flak 88 was an accidental anti tank weapon, it was build primarely as Anti air artillery, but the germans found out it could easily kill tanks, hence the 88mm's in tiger I and king tigers.
Found this video by chance and immediately subscribed. I just finished building Tamiya's 88 Flak after viewing Halidons video. I am now weathering the model and found some parts of this video helpful. Didn't know there were people making cardboard military models. Beautiful work ! Looking forward to future builds and i hope your channel grows.
I know this is a late comment, but its tapered at the end due to weight, saving steel and balance. what I found is that since most of the pressure is at the breach, you don't need to have as much steel at the end of it.
It's amazing to see how this man made things that really didnt look real in his first stop motion videos, but soon made ones so detailed its hard to know if its made plastic or not!!!
That is so cool! When I also created my Tatra Time Train, which is one of my most detailed projects, there's almost no references at some parts, Keep up the good work! :DD
This is beyond incredible mate. Not just the model, but the video as a whole. You truly have gotten all the more talented! Keep it going, even if these videos take too long
Just discovered your channel and subscribed pretty fast. I'm not into AFVs but have been building card models since about age 10 and got back into the hobby because of 'the thing that happened' in 2020. it's been great to see your progress over the videos from the simple to the very realistic like this one. A couple of things I could reccommend if you'll allow: you can get a pretty good sprayed camo by using a small piece of sponge and dabbing lightly. Also I highly recommend 1.5mm mount board as a medium - it is cheap, strong, cuts ok, is thick enough to carve and has a surface that will take paint without soaking. Another tool that might help you if you want to have accurate parts is unfolding a model in pepekura, which is a Japanese program that can split a model into flat pieces and arrange them on a page for printing. It takes more time to prepare but is worth it to know you end up with an accurate fit and you can just cut another part if you mess it up. Looking forward to your future builds.
8:24 If you see white lines on the barrel then that means the number of the plane, or tanks it has killed, and you can see here it has killed 10 planes.
Nim, i wanna do these types of tanks too but I don't know the materials and tools. My parents are willing to support me in this hobby but I don't know what to ask them to buy. Please reply on this comment.
Pretty good! Could you please do a T95 tank? Because i search this model (t95) and i didnt find any results... If you can do it i will be very happy! Also, new sub :D

0:38 At that moment, Nim felt the true despair
Hey I noticed that most of the models with bogies have some sort of piece of metal with a hole to have the barrel go through!
Finally, something to destroy allied armored personnel. Thanks Nim.
