That first one was actually really good. Most of the time people are like
Dur Dur Dur so you do spin move under the legs behind the back crossover shamgod ball fake 360 ball wrap half court layup
Yes I said a half court layup
    Or they are like
Sloooooooowly go to the left side, move to the right side, then...
    Then nothing...

    • @ThincPROBasketball

If they play you for the drive then you make them pay for letting you shoot the jumper! After you make the jump shot tell them they better guard you!

great video i love attacking the high foot--it gets a little harder i've noticed when im playing someone who is say 6'6 and i try to attack their high foot b/c of their shoulder span u sometimes have to drive a little wider than ud like (im only 5'8).
ive also noticed when i play defense, i don't allow the space alex is giving you here so that my high foot can't be attacked.
good shit man, thx for the vid

Attacking the defender's top foot and staying tight to him is a great way to get layups at the rim over taller defenders. Staying close to your defender's hip after getting past him prevents the defender from recovering and blocking the shot because you have closed off his space to move freely and get back in front. I am 5 ft 8 and I have been having a lot of success finishing at the rim over taller defenders. Also one thing about staying tight is keeping the ball low so you can use your off hand to beat the defender's hand check or him trying to poke at the ball. One thing to be aware of is that long defenders will try to stick their top foot out to force you to go by them at a wider degree so they can have a chance to get back in front.
