This guy just makes my day. I love his way of talking. He keeps me laughing. He's a hard working dumpster diver. He can jump in and out of those big dumpsters like Superman, but you really need to be more careful Mike . I'm so afraid you're gonna break your leg. I have a son so much like you he does anything to make a living including always getting any scrap he comes across. He's broke himself up so much through his work, but he keeps going. Ii have much respect for men like you all. Keep scraping and may God bless and keep all that earns an honest living.
Love the episodes where you arrive at the scrap yard and seeing all the mounds of stuff that is not going to a landfill somewhere. Thumbs up for doing your part!
Mike the Scavenger, you have without probably knowing made it so much easier for so many of us throughout this pandemic! Providing for us some good and a interesting form of entertainment. Thanks for the help! I appreciate you and look forward to seeing what your next big reward will be. As you seek out and find so much that can either be repurposed in so many ways and also thanks for your part in keeping some great items from ending up in the landfill or maybe even the Ocean 🌊.
Coming home from after a very exhausting day taking care of Covid Delta Variant patients at the hospital and seeing Mike posted a new video relaxes me from a hard day at work.Thank You Mike🤩
Dude I did it myself just like you do in montana for years i used a bicycle 26" and bike kids trailer to recycle 50 pounds copper aluminum and brass a day. Jumping in and out of a thousand blue dumpsters a week. It creates a phychosis that is addictive. This guy know what everything is. I miss recycling. I should get back into it. Its fun to see what is out there. I talk to myself like that all day/ nite too, that way the neighborhood knows who I am. Hey Great Falls , Missoula, Helena...was fun.
I started watching the video 3 minutes after it was uploaded and it already had almost 300 views. As I closed it out a the end there were almost 6 thousand views. Holy shit mike! keep it up man, love the videos!!
Damn punctures, I got a screw in my tire last week at the scrap yard,,,,, bugger. “J” for jolly good scavenger, jolly good bags of goodies “bump”, wow! Enough stuff to build a shelf set in your shed. Please keep the videos coming man, we love them, your the most entertaining scrapper on you tube.
Had to be strong last night. Got an engine hoist out of the bottom of a harbor freight dumpster that was packed with broken down boxes. Love the videos Mike, and you're in my head when I go dumpster diving now lol.
Hey Mike, you should go easy on those big letters. A lot of parents put them on their kids walls. You could probably get $10-$20 dollars each just the way they are. Just a thought. Happy dumpster diving.
You make my day bro. Around here it's nothing but cans Or bottles. Ppl are really anal around here if you try to dig in there dumpsters. Shout out to Nathan from oregon
The roll of gray tubing with the metal interior is generically called "Sealtite", or merely "liquid tight". 'Spensive stuff if you go to buy it. Installed a heap of it over the years. I believe the largest size available would be 4" trade size. BTW, without the outer plastic cover, it would be called "Greenfield", without the metallic inner, but quite flexible as well as tough, it would be "CN". CN is usually orange, and liquid tight. Used mainly in heavy industry machine tools, such as auto plants.
That seal tight is worth money ,should have kept it on the role to sell it. I have used it a lot. The bigger it is the more expensive it is. It’s on my hot tub to the GFCI OUTSIDE.
Hey Mike, you can buy one of those back plates for a couple bucks. Then you have a nice bathroom light. Also, that brass lamp you could hang on your patio if you have one. That would look nice too.
Dumpster Bug Lunch - wow ! Lots of Wire and Conduit again - wow that Grey Flex Conduit was very heavy ! You found some real good Stuff again ! We love it ! Cheers from us in Australia !!!!
Love the video as always. I do a bit of bin scrounging here in Turin, Italy. If it looks like something I can use or re-purpose, I grab it. That has saved me quite a few euros over the years and enabled me to get some stuff, free. I still got stuff that I use which I scavenged out of dumpsters and neighborhood trash bins in the SLC UT area when I lived there over twenty years ago. Once scavenging and scrounging gets in your blood, it never leaves.
17:29. you left some xxl white zipties ina green half transpartent back looked to be 20 ish about them. and box full of wood scrows. i think box of 30 or so. just saying if yuo ever go back out to chck this dumpster again :P they where pretty vissile around 16:30 (ofc you got more things on you rmind :P)
Smarter NOT harder includes less bending and twisting. Touch each thing as few times as possible. Save your back! Save your knees! You're the best in the web mike!
Every time he jumps from the dumpster he’s contributing to his future knee replacement(s). My plumber friend just had his done at 55. The Orthopedic doc said it wasn’t so much from kneeling but rather, jumping three feet off the back of his truck everyday for thirty years. It adds up.
Makes me think of the time I worked in the Radio Grill at a Walmart. My boss' boss came to check the store. My boss drew two cups of coffee that morning. Luckily it was his cup that had the fly doing a backstroke!
Another outstanding video mike your videos are so interesting to watch and educational teaching people how to recycle ♻️ they should be more people like u keep up the great work stay safe respect ✊😎❤️ps regards to family and friends 😻
Mike I was thinking I should invest in a GoPro. Today A business left out a Canon Color Laser printer. I did manager to re.9ve the idea hard drive and the memory. I did remove the power supply boards and that was a job doing that. I removed the heavy duty power cord without destroying it. So much of this printer has aluminum plating on the back. I couldn't even move it due to the weight. It was left outside I f a dumpster. I unplugged everything without cutting. The tempature was 93 and sat on the grass to dismantle. I wish you were around Mike as this job required your strength.
Just by doing it you learned something. Pace yourself, do what you can and don't feel bad about what you can't. Respect for getting out there and saving something from the landfill
Great stuff in the dumpster. Mr Mike you are funny just swallow a bug in the dumpster..haha..🤣. You are something God bless you always get what you look for everytime you dive dumpster. 🙏👍👏💯
We had a couple of the old fancy chandeliers you talking about in our yard. My hubby wasn't to keen on them, but the neighbors loved them. When we moved he sold them for $10.00 each. They had no wire anymore and no semblance of being a lamp again. We had a gravel yard and had other items in the yard as well. Many a person said it looked whimsical.

your noise bat is cool your dumpster is very good godbless stay safe 🙏🙏🙏
That dumpster at about the 4:30 mark with the single aluminum fan blade... The steel cage is to hold a electric motor. Like for a AC unit.
Still puzzles me that people throw pallets in a dumpster. Leave them beside the dumpster. Someone will recycle them. They pay $2 ea where I live.
No brasil está valendo 5 reais🤑
Good video Mike, but then there all good!!! B SAFE & See ya next time!👍👍👍✌😜❤
When I was little and accidentally swallowed a bug my dad would say, well it's just a little protein.
