Place your hand on your chest. Can you feel that? It's your heart. It's beating? Good. That's what it's supposed to do. Don't you there try and stop it. I care okay. I may not know you but trust me, you mean more to people than you will ever know. You never know how much you love someone until they're gone. I learnt that the hard way. Whether you have an eating disorder, mental illness, you get anxiety or even if you 'think' you are fat. There will always be someone for you. Whether you've found them yet or not. Notice how I put the focus on 'think' you are fat. One persons definition of fat is another's definition of perfection.
Just because you don't fit societies definition of perfection doesn't mean you're worthless.
Please next time you reach for a blade. Look at your scars. Place your hand on your chest. You're here for a reason. Make friends with the people that show you that reason

Tasnim Rahman actually sometimes it does like if a miner ( apologize If I didn't spell it right I'm only in the sixth grade ) marries or has a relationship with a non miner then the non miner would be in deep shit ( in less the "lovers" are less then four years apart ) , my sister was raped when she was six or seven by my eleven year old cousin , that was seven years ago today my sister is fourteen and a freshman in highschool and my disgusting cousin is eighteen or nineteen , he was sent down from his dad's because he was touching his step sister or half sister in inappropriate places , we tried taking him to court but he isnt a miner or almost isn't a miner so we couldn't and it happened on my birthday also my neighbor got a four-wheeler rolled on top of her and that also happend on my birthday I had the crappiest birthday ever ! non of my friends came ( I'm sorry for this random story but I had to get it out because If I tell anyone at my school it will get spread around and knowing the assholes who think they are all that , they would change things and embarrass me in front of my crush)

If I ever have a boyfriend who says I'm not allowed to talk to my guy friends, he gets to see my middle finger and hear words come out of my mouth that I rarely say, but that you hear at my school a lot. Also known as cuss words. I do what I want. If he told me he'd hurt himself if I broke up with him, I'd just say "I. Don't. Care. If you love me THAT much, you wouldn't be treating me so horribly, you jerk." I'm obviously stubborn. You try and make me do something I don't wanna do? I'll do the opposite JUST to annoy you. I am 15 as of the time I am posting this, and I have never had any girlfriends at any point in my life so far, But I can safely say that you have the right to say "no" and end a relationship with someone when it is getting out of hand and making you scared. DON'T LET ANYONE CONTROL YOU LIKE THAT, BE STRONG AND LET THEM KNOW THAT YOU ARE DONE.

One piece of advice. Don't get into a trap where you feel like only a man can protect you. You need to protect yourself at all times. I can't stress this enough. You must be self reliant so you never are in the position you were in with the abusive male that hurt you. You're not stupid. Never say that and never put all your eggs in one basket.

This reminds me of my ex boyfriend. He never abused me but he was badly abused by the girl he dated after me. From what he told me, she was just like the abusive boyfriend in this story. She had some sort of serious mental disorder (I can't remember which one) and she was a massive control freak. She would often verbally and sometimes physically abuse him. He eventually broke up with her but he's still scarred from the abuse and it's going to take him a while to fully recover. Girls and guys, if you ever find yourself in an abusive relationship, GET OUT RIGHT AWAY! No asshole or bitch is worth ruining your life!

We're not allowed to see or talk to our grandfather or grandmother,and my dad goes to meetings every week to stop drinking and the CPS Offices are giving my family more food to eat whenever we need it.
(We're not allowed to see or talk to our grandmother because she's still married to our grandfather.) She's going to divorce him once he gets found guilty of child sexual abuse of 3 children (me,my older sister,and my other older sister)

I went through the same stuff when I was 22.I married a guy who turned into a monster after I said I do.Two months after that day,I said I don't and filed for divorce.He had a rude awakening when he discovered I hit back.I'm so glad I didn't let him keep victimizing me but I feel sorry for the others that would cross his path after I got myself free.I'm so glad you got out. :)

My step dad was abusive to my mother I hated him so much he eventually walked out on us and I vowed that if I ever see him I will beat the shit outta. Well this is about a boyfriend though so yeah.. If it was the commenters father/grandfather etc she should have said so. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought this. Anyhow... My youngest son is in 7th grade, he would get his ass whipped if he pulled something like this. I'm so thankful my 4 are raised to respect others. What makes men (or women, for that matter) become abusers? Do they actually enjoy it, or are they themselves caught up in a bizarre scenario that they don’t know how to stop? I think there needs to be a lot more research into this issue.
But the main thing is that victims need to understand that it’s not their fault, they are not alone, and they CAN get help.

O my gosh. I am so sorry you went through that. I've been sexually abused before, nowhere as bad as what you went through. There was a guy in the grade below me that I wasn't dating but he always acted like we were. He kept kissing me and touching me in inappropriate spots over and under my clothes. He never did rape me, even though i was scared that he was going to. I didn't tell anyone or get help because I have a fear of pissing people off, and he as aspurgers so he didn't get it right away, and he gets pissed off really easily. I didn't want to tell my actual boyfriend, who treats me right, because I was afraid he would think i'm cheating on him or something and he'd probably kill himself or something since he has depression problems along with me. it went on for about a month or two. I had to ride the bus with him every Tuesday and he'd put his coat over us so he could kiss me. one day last December I finally got the courage to tell my boyfriend, and he told me "I'm not mad at you. I'm mad at him, because what he's doing is wrong and he could get in legal trouble for sexual assault." since i was still too scared to tell anyone, he talked to his guidance counselor the next day who talked to mine (he's in the high school and I'm in middle) so he talked with me and my dad, and got it all straightened out. Now we have a restraining order on the guy. I'm glad you got help. You're a very strong woman who doesn't deserve to go through that again.

I was abused by my boyfriend earlier this year. It started fine, as they always do, then he became manipulative. He began telling me what to wear, said I couldn’t have friends, and when I bought things for my collections he thought they should’ve gone to him. Then he started sexually abusing me... and raped me. But he was a master at manipulation, and I stayed with him. It wasn’t until summer that I left, and I am still not fully over it.

I had the same type of thing happen to me. except when I broke up with him the torment didn't stop. he set my house on fire broke into our basemeant he would come over to my house at all hours of the night and throw stuff at my window. I taped news paper over it to try to give him the hint. he started spreading rumors about me at school and tried to get other girls to beat me up. (one of the girls talked to his friends and they told him all the horrible things he did to me, she apologized to me and got her brothers to beat the shit out of him.) my brother and his friends also beat the shot out of him. this happened when I was 12-13 years old I am now 25 and guess what... this guy still won't leave me be he stalks my social media accounts does background checks on me to find out where I live and work he likes to make it known that he is watching my every movement. sometimes just ending the relationship doesn't work.
Can you not call the cops? If he's in prison he can't mess with you anymore right?
Or file a restraining order?
Lucky#17 I have no actual proof that he is stalking me for all the cops know I'm the one that is stalking him and trying to get him in trouble. Plus I know him well enough to know that what he is doing now is mild compared to what he is capable and willing to do. If I get a restraining order on him it would only push him to do more.
Lucky#17 I try to look on the bright side, while he is to focused on attempting to torment me I'll be here succeeding in my personal life goals all the while he is there in the shadows crying because I did what he told me I wasn't good enough to do. Plus, if he tried anything (breaking into my home, ect.) US law gives me the right to defend myself.

hi even tho im a guy i know exactly how you feel just remember im a brazilian jui jitsu fighter just remember that so my best friend she is 15 and i am 14 i was with her when her boyfreind asked her out after he did i pulled him aside and said " if you ever do something to my sister i will kick your ass" he said ok bro i got you but about a month later she would stop coming over and stop going to my fight practices and i finally went up to her and said WTF but when i saw her face she had a broken nose i asked from what she wouldnt tell me so one day i found her and her boyfriend at the mall and i felt like a stalker but i watched them he grabbed her face and made her kiss him so i got up to go say something but my friend said what if he is joking around i said your right so like 5 minutees later he punshes her and thats when i got up ran over took off my jacket and well i took him down i put him in a arm bar and ended up braking his arm so i walked her home and her father said hello and ever since then shes bin my girlfrien and i vowed from that day that i would protect girls
All this and he was 12 when you guys started. omg. You said 8th grade right. My boyfriend doesn't want me talking to a lot of guys, but I don't want him talking to a lot of girls either and both of us are okay with it, and he doesn't really want me wearing revealing shirts, and I hate it anyways. We fight a lot, and sometimes I feel like he is an idiot, but I love him. We've been together since we were 13, we're both 18 now. If I were you back then, I would have called the police hunny.
