10:46 Doomsday clock was done so well... Till the end.... I mean we know Dr Manhattan was broken and let's be honest, he would end superman but don't know why they ended it like that....
Yes, it happened two other times. Quantum Superman( who is actually Captain Atom in an alternative universe), and Batmanhattan, whose body was taken over by The Darkest Knight before he got too powerful. In the case of Batmanhattan, Bruce Wayne basically lived the life of Jon Osterman, suffered a SIMILAR series of events that ended up getting him trapped and his intrinsic field removed. After he pet himself together, he slowly began to become aware of all the Bruce Wayne’s across the multiverse, and then RIGHT after that, The Darkest Knight’s goons subdued him with an energy knife. They switched brains, and then TDK took over Batmanhattan’s body. It’s a little stupid and it only happened because Batmanhattan JUST started learning about his powers.
The rules on Manhattan seem inconsistent tbh, I woulda thought it's like Darkseid where an Avatar puppet is controlled by something outside of the multiverse hence the powers and that there's only one 'Manhattan' character. 🤔

Well, he can't erase Superman. I'm not saying that he can't defeat him, but he himself said that Superman just can't be wiped out of existence, he always comes back and always leads by example. That is, even if he erased all of Superman's atoms, he would never cease to exist as an ideal and a character, a conclusion that Manhattan reached at the end of Doomsday Clock. That and Superman defeated Manhattan in his philosophical debate, so I guess that's something he couldn't do, defeat Superman in a clash of ideals.

There’s a Skillshare class that teaches you how to become Dr. Manhattan.
But not Dr. Batmanhattan. That’s just fantasy.
I always come back and watch this. I love Dr Manhattan he’s one of my favorite fictional characters😭 man I wish I could see more of him🥲
Dr Manhatten might be coming back in Flashpoint Beyond. He might be coming for his snow globe.
Yeah possibly. I'm waiting eagerly
Great video comics explains 😀
I swear to god, if you ever end video without saying "Peace", I will cry like a baby (I', 39)
He also kill perpetua with a tiny bit of his energy
It never happened.
Does anyone know when the next hulk vs Thor comic will come out
Rob that skill share plug was 10/10
With a glowing blue body and a set………….
Of blue balls
One of my all time favorite characters. Thank you sir!
10:46 Doomsday clock was done so well... Till the end.... I mean we know Dr Manhattan was broken and let's be honest, he would end superman but don't know why they ended it like that....
You know a retcon is bad, when fictional characters within the universe are trying to undo it.
We did not see a fight between Superman and Manhattan because it wouldn’t be a fight. Dr Manhattan was just erasing from existence and that’ll be it.
Damn I still can't get over how smooth the ads are
Theoretically couldn't anyone else easily replicate the experiment that created him?
The yes, but maybe lui bit was not something I expected but I loved it😂🤣🤣
The rules on Manhattan seem inconsistent tbh, I woulda thought it's like Darkseid where an Avatar puppet is controlled by something outside of the multiverse hence the powers and that there's only one 'Manhattan' character. 🤔
Beyond omega level: icon from dc
Dr Manhattan is the only character I'm interested at, in DC Comics.
Pls do hekate or The upside down man or Mordru would be a good video
From one baldy to another: This guy looks pretty powerful
Idk if you have or haven’t yet or if he even counts as beyond omega but if you could do Wally west flash, or maybe even just a speed force video in general would be really cool
Thanks for the video I was blushing the whole time
Woah you still do this series!
I was surprised you hadn't done Dr Manhattan myself.
I know it gets a lot of hate but I loved Doomsday Clock. The story, writing and art were fantastic. It’s biggest issues were all the delays and the fact that it’s not really being incorporated into continuity anymore except for Johns current Flashpoint Beyond series(which is also amazing btw). But I think in succession to Rebirth, the button and death metal it makes for a pretty awesome story.
You know someone's powerful when the story has to end the character being convinced to undo things or erases itself in the end dayum
Rob: "With a glowing blue body and a set of..."
Me: "Huge balls"
Rob: "...superpowers."
😂
At 1:40 I thought...really really thought you were going to say a set of blue balls
Owl Man: Your killing millions!!!!!
Oz: to save billions.
Amazing video Rob! Please, can't wait for a Emma Frost one! We're talking about one of the most powerful mutants! And Smart! (her better, most exciting part)
The watchmen movie was a great adaptation
After saying a "Glowing Blue body..." I thought you were going to say and a set of glowing blue balls...LOL glad it didn't go that way.
thanks for this
Rob I love your videos they give me something to tune into at work to help keep my focus. Plus because of my busy life it's kinda hard to sit down and read a comic 😕. Also how bout beyond omega level squirrel girl
Mentioning DC's cash grabbing made me think of Marvel's obscure stable, and with Taika's second Thor coming soon and his sly (but totally neutered) use of Topaz, I think doing Malibu content would be a welcome shot in the arm for the Comics Explained channel. Prime, my man, Prime!
The man got a Ph.D. In nuclear physics, omega level on its own.
Please do Omega Level Plastic Man!! =D Batman is always talking about how powerful he is!!
We need a yes but maybe comic book day I love those discussions 😂😂
I think maybe you should do next is The Maker he look really strong or the next one I would like to see is Divine Spawn
He's arguably the most powerful being in DC comics. He can do virtually anything. Anyone think of anything that can beat him or something he can't do?I mean he can see ALL of time and alternate realities involving him simultaneously
Yes, it's funny when people say characters like knull could beat him. Dr Manhattan could erase knull from existence with a thought.
Not at all lmfao he gets stomped by Lucifer, michael the presence,Elaine and some others I forgot about
Well he does come from the real world and not a comic book as well. He should be able to reform, create, etc or do anything in the dc universe. Anyway, that’s what I think
@@dreese2648 Jesus Christ no fictional character “comes from the real world” live action series is still fiction my g he can’t just go outta his verse and destroy people. He’s fodder to the people mentioned above.
If this guy waited a few more years, he would’ve been able to keep himself and restore his universe
'I am just a puppet who can see the strings'
Videos like this make me think Rob specifically holds off on certain heroes for more content/ views
I swear you did before
The Skill Share plug in Slayed me
ROB!!!!!!!! I havent even watched the video yet SON! I saw the title and damn-near hyperventilated. Is there a HELLYEAH! button i can press?
That segway *chef's kiss"
I haven't seen you do beyond omega level kitty pride with the powers of juggernaut. Lol
"And a set of...superpowers." Lol.
The fact that they end the run with him sacrificing himself for his world, That actually in a way makes the decision to get rid of him final. Like he is actually gone now not just off somewhere never to return. And. Leaving it in a state of finality rather than that possibility that 1 day in the future he might come back like he was left previously.
1:37 ...... set of super powers huh?
I shall from this day forth refer to my balls as super powers :v
I still didn't understand how the secret plan wasn't just "Convince Dr Manhattan to disarm the entire planet with a thought." That seems way easier.
