I totally agree and I'm a big fan of Rod. I think the Crowes are a perfect hybrid of Zeppelin, Faces, and the Stones. There is a lost track from shake your money maker called charming mess. They left it off the original release because it sounds just like hot legs! Then for the 30yr anniversary of shake they got rods blessing to include it. Have you heard that song?
Must say I have to listen to the new album again. Did not like it the first go. That happend when I listen to Lions. Than at second listen I dug it alot. The new guitarist is lackluster.
