RIP Duffy. I'm certainly not the musician he was but the few times I performed with him he made me feel like I was. I am fortunate to have traded scat with Duffy a couple times. One of the best persons I've ever known in my life. Dan Williams

Always great to see Duff - the best swing drummer around, but I am just blown away by the solos! Took one look at the instrumentation and thought "how is THIS gonna' work?', but you guys took it OUT! Way to go!!

Oh, Duffy! You are so great. What a pleasure to hear you here with everyone. You possibly do not remember me, Judy Rivera from Miami, a dear friend of your wonderful dad. I married that Italian guy who swept me off my feet and brought me to live a wonderful life here in Italy. With lots of Love always, Judy xoxoxo

What a fun trip. Cool seeing Duffy and it's always great to see the Nashville monsters playing jazz and how much it surprises a lot of folks that they can! All the Nashville monsters are jazzers and we love it!

I know what you mean. I'm pretty shocked by this. I know who Vince Gill is but if he had walked up to me on the street, I wouldn't have know him from Adam. I'm not a country fan, but, like you, am pretty blown away by what Vince did for Duff.

+Myno Tayloe Amen amen and A-MEN. I'd hate to go to my grave having never seen this clip. Duffy is a true Nashville Cat now. We are lucky to have him here to show us how to do it. Those drums hadn't ever been hit like that before! LOL

Christ. I was kind of blown away by Vince even hearing of Duffy that I didn't really listen to the music. These guys are fucking good as shit.

The Duffmeister could lose a few lbs. I was fortunate to have been at Miami Beach Sr. High when he was attending. He was a BMOC. Never met him, though. Guys like me did not walk up to Duffy Jackson, but I have a feeling he might have been approachable. I did get to see him play with his pops in South Florida a few times. Some of the best live jazz I ever saw.

Shooters141 I’ve met him, he’s a very very nice man. I just walked up and said hi.
