i ended up going with this for my tr8 pro over the trak racer seats because of the price point being near identical and god am i glad i went with this option, real car seat for the same price SOLD!!
Glad you’re happy with it. It really is a fantastic seat for the price!
@@TarixVR much higher quality than the sim racing company provided seats for sure!
Looks good
Thanks, Alan!
Fantastic review! I'm 5' 6" which is 67 inches, same height as you. I weigh significantly less at 130 lbs compared to you at 172 lbs. Just wanted to make sure it's not a typo? 67 inches tall at 172 lbs? It's important because I'm trying to figure out which size seat to buy.
Thanks!
@@irbombardmnt not a typo. I’m built like Gimly.
Is that a rigmetal rig? If so what simagic base do you have? Sorry for all the questions but I just ordered an alpha and p1000’s and was wondering how the rig heldup if it was a rigmetal rig!! Thank you
It is - I actually have a video on the Rigmetal Plus as well. To answer to your question: in this video I had an alpha mini and it was rock solid. I wound up upgrading to Alpha U and again - rock solid. I’ve since done some modifications and added a front mount and Rigmetal plus is still withstanding the 15nm I run the alpha U at with without issue. Happy to answer any other questions you may have!
@ ill go watch those videos for all the tidbits!! I appreciate you! It was amazing for my prior 8NM so i wasnt too stressed only goint to 15nm
@@Frost-ux8jx you’ll be fine - it’s super sturdy.
Hey brother, could you tell me the width from mounting hole to mounting hole?
@@CWFL5 I actually don’t have the seat any longer, but if I remember correctly it was around 21 inches or 53.3cm. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
