Jaclyn, I don't think there is another makeup artist I have seen yet that can do what you do with eye makeup!! Seriously. Especially you're eye liner! yes you should but often many employees use other brands, so they just find mac products similar to the ones they are wearing so if anyone does ask they can refer them to a mac product that provides a similar look.
Yes, per the employee manual employees must wear all MAC even down to the nail polish! Like someone else said though, a lot don't wear all MAC, but just know the mac equivalent to recommend. :)

I saw you use the color (some orange shimmer) from the palette and applied it. i couldn't really grasp the name and i don't see it under your description box either. what was the name of that color?

I absolutely LOVE this look, I wear it on a regular basis. I love the colors on my eyes, I have green eyes, ad so it makes them pop! I was playing around with this look and trying different color combos, I created a combo that I love, and all it is, is I use M.A.C Deep Damson instead of Sketch, and it looks so pretty. I can't say I like Deep Damson better than Sketch, or I like Sketch more than Deep Damson. I love them both! Both looks are beautiful! You should try it with Deep Damson some time! I love you Jaclyn, you are so talented, and have such an amazing personality! I've learned SO much from you and can't thank you enough!

Oh my gosh I tried this with a bunch of Makeup Geek eyeshadows I just ordered because of how much you rave about them. First of all, I LOVE THEM! They are so pigmented and so easy to blend I'm obsessed. Thank you for introducing me to my new favorite eyeshadow! Second, this is SUCH a beautiful look and is so easy t accomplish. It took me about 5 minutes without a whole bunch of effort, and it still turned out pretty and presentable :) I used Peach Smoothie, Creme Brûlée, Burlesque, Cow Girl, and Mocha. (I mixed the last three to create the beautiful wine color MAC shadow you used, and Creme Brûlée was great to give me that beautiful rusty, brick orange that's concentrated in your crease, blended with the wine). I'm obsessed with this look. You are so creative and I wouldn't thought to blend these colors to create such a beautiful look. You are my favorite makeup guru and I really hope to meet you some day!!

Video using the creams and concealers? Yes please! I just wanted you to know that you've taken me so far in the renewal of my makeup techniques. I went to Barbizon school of Beauty when I was 17 and learned the cosmetics application process. For awhile I did other people's makeup but time and circumstances happened and I had to leave it behind for other things. I've only recently returned to my 1st love, makeup. Since watching your videos I've completely overhauled my makeup kit, my tools, and my techniques. I love putting my makeup on again like I did those years ago. So I owe you a very big thank you for your consistency in posting these videos. They make more of a difference than you know.

just wanna say I bought red brick and rule specifically for this look and your reddish smokey eye and both looks turned out amazing. These colors looked so scary in the pan but soooo pretty on...thank you thank you thank you!! Kimber Kiefer yes, it's copper ring. The shade from MAC. I had to listen to it multiple times and Google the shade.

I usually watch your videos while my son is at school but today he ate his snack and watched with me, he's 6 and usually not quiet or still for 9 mins….I don't know what I enjoyed more that or your smokey eye tutorial! LOL I get so many compliments when I use your tips or tricks! Just started using Mario B. skin care regimen at night AMAZING! Can not wait to try this smokey eye!!!

Jaclyn I love love love your videos. I get so excited when you upload new videos. I was wondering if you could do a look or recommend eye shadows for African American women. I find myself buying eyeshadow you use to create the same look however because I am dark toned most of the colors don't really show. Any recommendations for dark toned skin would be amazeballs.
