How to setup PPTP VPN on TP Link routers Windows

That is connecting a computer within the same local network, And every VPN Video I've seen is the same when in fact the more reason to setup a VPN is to access it remotely from a different network (different location) and the guide on this is no where to be found anywhere online... why is this. So frustrating... OF COURSE IT WORKS WHEN CONNECTING LOCALLY, but how to connect remotely?

i setup just like in this video pptp vpn on my Archer C2300 router, and stil cant acces local network resources. i wanted to acces a local nas and thru samba and printer on a windows 11 laptop outside the network

I can normal set up VPN protocol via Window so easily...then why we need to connect again upon we set up in router?

This worked fine only after I disabled the Windows Firewall on the computer I was accessing. How do I allow Tp Link's PPTP VPN to pass through Windows Firewall without disabling it?
