The song's lyricist, Seo Dong-sung, recommended that Siyeon sing the remake version after seeing her cover of Japanese singer Yuuri's "Betelgeuse" (2022), according to her agency.

Siyeon was discovered through her other covers, and the producers approached her to remake/cover this OST. Now that it has been released, it sounds absolutely spectacular. You mentioned how well-suited her voice is for this type of song, and I completely agree. Siyeon and Handong, in my opinion particularly excel at performing OSTs. They have the ability to hit incredible high notes and/or convey deep emotions. Dong-sun SEO, the lyricist, cast Da-reum NAM, a 21 year-old heartthrob movie and television actor just returned from military duty this year, and Siyeon (Si-yeon LEE) in this remake of the song that went to number one from the second episode of maybe the second-highest viewed Korean television of all time, *Itaewon Class*. When the crowd crush occurred in 2022 around Halloween all the news explained Itaewon as being a part of Seoul made famous by this drama. It was remade in Japanese as *Roppongi Class* with a Japanese version of this song by The Beat Garden. That’s how successful it is. The title in English is “Start Over!” which is used by at least two other songs over here and more in English, one by Sakurazaka 46 also performed on New Year’s Eve and televised, confusingly for me.
dreamcatcher \:D/ pretty true instrumental wise to original and covered by tons of people, but most of them don't sing it with the emotion of the lyrics. you can feel the emotion with siyeon, but then again the lyrics are basically a dc song so easy for her lol :D

But as they say, _Siyeon is Siyeon,_ so of _course_ she knocked it out of the park. 🥰 Though, now i kinda want a Siyeon/Seungmin version... 🤔
