This is my kind of Johann Sebastian Bach, meditative, spiritual, sublime, ethereal, and very "pianistic", that is to say, drawing on all those fine nuances only the modern piano provides. Oh boy, you keep on recording this kind of heavenly Bach for all of us!!!
That was heaven, guys. No wonder everything you play is of such high artistic quality. If you can play Bach this well, whatever you play will always be gold. I'm not exaggerating, my eyes got wet with this one. So much beauty... Bravo!!!!
I listened to and watched youtube probably all your performances. I really want to hear your performance in the concert hall one day! 🙏 you are amazing musicians! Bravo! 👏👏👏
Lovely, yes. But this was recorded live on 9 September 2020. People are sort of spaced apart, but still, it's indoors. So why is no one wearing a mask? If I had been there, I would have been wearing an N95 surgical mask, and I would have been there only if it had been held outdoors. Thank you, though, for sharing this, so that a larger audience can now safely enjoy it from home. And I hope no one contracted covid-19 from this event.
@@cjay2 Oh please, respect my opinion, and I'll respect yours. We differ in our risk aversion. I won't be attending indoor gatherings like this until after I've been twice vaccinated. Perhaps the pandemic situation, where you are, or where this concert was held, is a little better than where I live. But as a senior citizen, I'd rather be safe than sorry.
@@cjay2 Yes, you are just saying, and Ben Franklin was just saying, but it's hard to be free if you're dead. Your citing Ben Franklin, however, is arguably inappropriate and is blatantly out of context. His declaration was not about whether to attend an indoor concert in the middle of a pandemic for which there would be and there is now a vaccine. Not to mention that you are probably confusing Benjamin Franklin with the notable but lesser figure Patrick Henry, who declared "Give me liberty, or give me death." But there is no American independence from the British crown at stake in whether to attend this concert. I am simply exercising my freedom to postpone a certain pleasure to increase the likelihood that I will have many such pleasures in a significantly longer future.

@@alwaysuseless Benjamin Franklin said something about giving up freedom for 'safety' and security. Just saying.

And did you enjoy the performance at all?
Or is all your liking capability lost in fear?
I would feel sorry about that.
