There is also severe weather and tornado risk in parts of this area tonight. Wednesday the rains will move into Upstate NY and New England with severe weather and elevated tornado risk. Steamy weather conditions continue in the Eastern US while the heat wave goes on in the Western US.

The death heat returneth. 97F here in Martinez, Ca. for the next 3 days. In Pittsburg, Ca. where my girlfriend Kathy lives it will be 100F for the next several days. Stay cool if you can out there.
