What I love most about you two is your endless generosity. Whatever you do, you are always so happy to share - your time, your skills, your success, and especially your love for each other. Thank you dear friends!
My dearest Carlos & Arne, we care for our father in his senior retirement condo. We walk;watch news; eat ;sleep; visit doctors. I am blessed with your lighthearted banter once a week. Thank you for giving me a window to a warm home, two happy dogs, beautiful garden, and your relationship.
I fell in love with your vibrant and positive chemistry with each other and with your projects. Thank you for being you and spreading joy…. So badly need in this world!
Arne and Carlos, you have helped me get through the whole pandemic isolation. I always feel like we are visiting in person when I watch your videos. You share so much and I love hearing of your life in Norway. I don't have the chance to travel, so listening to your stories lets me explore as well. Please keep sharing your adventures with us!
My goodness, you guys are hilarious! You both had me laughing out loud a few times during your "15 minutes". Thank you SO much for bringing a light-hearted and delicate touch to everything you encounter and see so that you bring it back to us and make us smile and laugh like the true magicians you are.
“Why?” Well that is easy. There is so much heaviness and darkness in the world. There is so much stress in many of our individual lives. This podcast is calming. An hour of light in our lives where we can stop and appreciate the small things in life like a little chit chat without deep, dark gravity. My mind totally is happy and free and it is like I am sitting there with you chatting. Thanks for visiting with me every week and bringing with you the little mundane things that make life good. Thanks for the weekly visit. I look forward to it and will put out tea and scones 😛 next time. Oh and “multicraftual” is the word you were looking for. Let’s see if you read to the end of this long long “comment” LOL. 💕
Dearest Arne and Carlos.! You both are a ray of sunshine in a chaotic world. I could not be without my dose of Sit and Knit for a Bit. I graciously thank you...Susan from Canada
This Sit n Knit reminded me of the ones during the pandemic. Meandering, funny, interesting! These really are so enjoyable! Even the dog interruptions are entertaining. Thank you so much! And Arne does not look a day over 28.
It’s rainy, trouble in the world, feeling a little sick, but oh! I will forget everything for a little while I watch Arne and Carlos as they sit and knit for a bit! I enjoy your videos and I like learning about different countries and people!
Thank you Arne and Carlos for continuing your Sit and Knit for a Bit "15 minute" sessions! You guys are like Mr. Rogers for adults :) so comforting and fun. Carlos, please feed Arne so he doesn't have to snack on pillow stuffing lol. I really hope you are able to feature little Arne and Carlos as guests some time in the future, but you two will always be the stars of the show!
Looove your "15 minutes" !!! 😊😊😁 That you are talking about a lot of different things shows, that you are interested in a lot of themes. That is the best what can happen to you. And is, of course, a big benefit for us. To communate is everything !! 👍👍😊 I knit and learn the english language nearby, listen to you. 😉😉Stay safe. ❤💙💛👍🌻 Arne and Carlos in pre-school, that' s MAGIC. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 The new object is BAMBI. So cute. 😍
We come back because we enjoy your company. We love your stories, your animals, and your smiles! What fun that you have little ones brought to your attention. Arne, love your Bambi!
Wow I just love y’all’s sit and knit for a bit….. I’m mainly a crocheter that knits occasionally….but I thoroughly enjoy all the stuff you two talk about…it’s so nice to see things getting back to normal…the United States is getting there. ❤️
I really enjoy portrait artist of the year. There is also landscape artist of the year, this is the one I am binge watching. I so enjoy listening to you both. Thank you.
I’ve been joining you for sit and knit for a bit since the beginning of lockdown. I love it! You ask why … because it is like sitting and chatting with friends! I love learning about your culture and I have made loads of lovely knitted and crocheted garments!
I look forward to sit and knit every week. I don't knit I crochet and do embroidery. I just enjoy listening to your stories. It's like sitting with friends talking about there week. Please continue when you can
Embroidery was my first venture into needlework, back in the 1970s. I did crewel and cross-stitch. I've been knitting for 18 years now. Recently I came across an embroidery artist's website called Little Green Stitches. She lives in England and her work is beautiful, mostly floral embroidery designs. She sells her patterns and kits on Etsy. You should take a look at her work.
I started watching a lot of u tubers when the pandemic started. Yours is the only podcast that I continue to watch. I look for all your videos because you are personable, joyful and you talk about nothing and everything. You just go with the flow and if anything unusual happens you take it in stride and keep going. Thank you for sharing your humor and lives and teaching me a lot of techniques about all sorts of stuff. Your are truly a delight to spend time with. ❤💐🤗
Good morning gents. Casanova Helma❤ Love the finishing on the pillow, beautiful work. Jackets are coming along, looking forward to the finished product. Little Arne and Carlos cute. Thanks for a great video.🥰
I rarely craft when you are on. I need full attention to see and hear everything! I wouldn't want to miss your expressions or wild hair!!! Your Easter eggs are lovely. Mini Arne and Carlos are so precious! Such an awesome story. That "dead lady" is looking down on you smiling! She is happy that you are loving and caring for the needlework she couldn't finish. I could pass over in peace knowing you have my UFOs 😁! The best thing about covid was finding you. There is always something good you can find in the bad when you put your mind to it. So don't dwell on the bad! Good luck in your thrifting! I am with you Arne when you watch the portrait competition....amazing!
Lovely episode, thanks guys. My favourite bit was the story of the little boys Arne and Carlos. They looked so cute in their sweaters. Do make contact with them.
Love your "15 minutes". Your thrift shop projects are wonderful. Giggles on the second project was cute. Always a great time watching you both. Take care.
Thank you for another great and entertaining podcast. I look forward to hearing about your week and the projects you are working on. Thanks again for sharing!❤️
We keep coming back because it is an escape from all that is going on in the world and you both keep us laughing as you talk about anything and everything. Arne I would love to go thrift store shopping with you.
I also am a big fan of Portrait Artist of the Year! I also love Landscape Artist of the Year! It’s fascinating to watch such talented artist challenging themselves! I love it! Another great visit guys! Have an awesome week!
When I taught preschool, we made artist “smocks” for our little students. I love hearing about your progress on the folk costumes. I thought of you when I recently “won” an online auction of an old Norwegian sewing cabinet (the kind where the drawers telescope out from the middle). It was full of patterns and tools for making German folk costumes. And, there were 15 sets of knitting needles!!!
@@heidibock1017 It was amazing . In addition to the mid-century sewing cabinet, I won a 1960s Singer sewing machine in its table and another handcrafted cabinet that fits under the table. I live in Nebraska in the US, and our city at one point had a large German population (Volga Germans from Russia). Now I want to know a little more about their folk costumes. :)
The auction lot came with everything for $60 usd- even though I was really just interested in the Norwegian sewing cabinet. I’m a quilter, so it will be nice to have an extra machine
Finished my In Memory of Ukraine hat (Spiral Hat) while I listened/watched you. Praying for Ukraine. You truly keep us connected in a wonderful community of crafters. Enjoy your week!!
We love you and everything you talk about because you are fun and also share such interesting stories. No knitting podcast can beat you. Please keep digressing as often as you can. ❤️
I always do some knitting or crocheting when watching your videos. It’s like sitting and listening to friends talk about their week Little Arne and Carlos were so sweet If you like Portrait Artist you'll like Landscape Artist of the Year..same judges..very inspiring shows Take care and spring is almost here..🇨🇦 ❤️
Your podcasts are never too long! You say you don’t understand why so many people tune in to your podcasts. I watch every week because you both are so authentic and real. You both make ordinary day to day things so special and you are so enthusiastic about everything around you! I love that about the two of you. I hope I have the opportunity to meet you someday! Thanks for another great podcast!
Arne you did a magnificent job on that cats. I wasn’t sure what you were going to do but it is fantastic. I hope you add your special touch to the deer.
Always, always picks me up to watch sit and knit. So grateful to see you each week sharing your lives and your projects. Arne you should raffle off the new deer cross stitch project when you are done, for the Ukraine efforts. I'll buy a ticket! It will look nice in the back of my little Yaris. 😃Keep on keeping on! Sending lots of love ❣️❣️❣️from Victoria BC
I knit a little. I come just to see your lives and gain some experience. But mainly because you have become like neighbors that I sit with and have a cup of tea or coffee. You have lovely conversations and are never boring or mean. I love you.
