Nah i don't like it the ending is too rushed and the girl acts like she is innocent when she teaches the boy all the *things* and also what was the weird spicy scene at the end like the spider play? Seriously and the almost killing his dad and shagging his sister from behind on his body and SHE ENJOYED IT it was horrific

I have 350+ books in my home library I read in rotation and I mix my genres so I don`t end up in a reading slump, and I am just starting out on my dark romance reading journey, I have the boys of tommen series, the brutal prince series cat and mouse duet including where is molly and the Satan affair by H.D Carlton, Den of viipers and Does it hurt by H.D Carlton and I can`t remember the other author, me personal I have this dark side I would explore I liked mysterys and horror as a kid years ago and I am not the type to get scared easily or like take notes of a book and do it or be arrested by doing those trigger warning stiff whats in a book being read by me stays in my book I have a one track mind anyway lol a bit of a dirt take mind as everyone knows me by now lol, and I don`t have a mental health plb so I might be able to handle the trigger warnings, I am ok with smut and taboo and reverse hareems and bdsm stuff I understand it but I would`t do it so I guess I am ok to read dark romance books.

That a very interesting list, I loved most of the books you recommended. However I can’t agree on the hooked. This series has no flavor and is very basic. It’s the « tell but never shows » behavior. There’s no chemistry between them and the romance is based on looks and angst only. It’s so light it’s barely DR… I recommend the other books by Douglas, she is really good at writing amazing romance with dark plot! I loved Credence for instance 🫶
