I had the pleasure of being a student of her's in Santa Barbara, CA. She is an amazing teacher and I feel lucky to have been in her baking class. I think the comment about her weight is very rude.
Julia was so kind that many of her handlers were very protective of who got close to her because she would talk to everyone that approached her. I remember when she was in Napa it was always a huge deal. Julia & Jacques the best.
I had the pleasure of doing Julia's hair at the Lipmans Dept. store in Portland Oregon in the 1970's. She was promoting her newest cookbook and doing a demonstration at the store. She came into the salon and waited just like everyone else. She was easy to talk to and most amusing in the way she answered questions. The funny thing was that I by mistake picked up the glass cleaner instead of the 'blue' wave set we used. Her hair came out fine and I didn't realize it till later in day.
Julia looked for A+ person with a culinary background? Why would I ask for an another? Her husband who occasionally did doubt; became the :lover"...Bon Apetite!
Two lovely ladies having a conversation about another lovely lady.

This program has a Good guest - horrible host.
Planned Parenthood? Dear God.
back in the day planned parenthood was more about supporting pregnant women. not the abortion factory they have become at taxpayer expense.
They focus on women's health. Women's reproductive rights are only a part of what they do.
@@baritonebynight that’s probably the most disingenuous thing I’ve ever read
@@baritonebynight They focus on selling baby parts these days.
