Morten Frost said fastest men single is Ginting. But i think it's LCW. Ginting may looked fast in his legs movement but LCW's footwork/steps is faster to reach and get behind the shuttle. LCW movement is so natural it looked like his movement is relax. Another example is world greatest sprinter Usain Bolt. His sprinting looked so natural and relax u don't see he is fast but the footwork and steps make him reach the finish line faster than everyone.

his energy flows like helium plasma from the surface of the sun, vibrant and seemingly inexhaustible like nothing you've ever seen. look how he gets behind the shuttle, smashing repeatedly, even full smashes, from the back line, for example @4:00 full smash with one foot landing behind the back line-- winner. when lcw is behind the shuttle, he is extremely dangerous, no matter where he is on the court. check it out @1:36, where he jumps backward in order to get behind the shuttle and strike very early. chen long reads the play and waits guarding against the straight return, and where does lcw put it? straight down the line between chen long's racket and the tramline. that's balls. and the ability to do that comes from lcw's willingness to put out whatever energy is required to get himself into position to strike early with the shuttle in front of him, and having the deep athletic conditioning to put out that kind of energy continuously through long matches
