    My husband showed me an open scrape on his arm from resting his elbow on his chair. The leather broke and had many sharp edges. This is the perfect thing to surprise him with!! Thank you so much

    Do you remember which yarn you used for this? Looks perfect in texture and colour as a cover for my office chair!

      It was from a one pound cotton mystery bag. I think it's kitchen cotton like lily sugar and cream.

    I saw your tutorial as I want to make covers for my arm rests in my coach. I need the length 17 inches & width 4 inches..when I crochet my rounds….the length is growing…when I checked the length after awhile…it was 20”..why is my length growing. If you can help me…I’d be very much appreciated..thank you

      Try to make your starting row length minus the width (17-4), so your starting row would be 14. This way, your length will grow only as your width does. I hope that helps. Thanks for reaching out. Let me see how it turns out 😁

      Thank you so much!!! I’m so excited to finish the project & I will let you know how I did! Your tutorial is excellent to follow & you even taught me how to do the single foundation stitch! Man..wished I learned that earlier lol! It’s so much easier than the chain stitching! Lol! Again thank you & Happy New Year to you & your loved ones!!

    Is there a written version of this?

      Not as of yet, mainly because every chair is different.

      @@crochetyourwaytoday That makes sense, I'm gonna try this for my mom's office chair. The measurements are slightly larger but not enough to make it a big problem. I'll let you know how it turns out!

    I am trying to make my sofa arm chair cover. The length is 35” and width is 5”. How long should I make my foundation chain ?

    • @crochetyourwaytoday
      @crochetyourwaytoday  2 года назад +2

      I would make it 33-34", and then see how much it has to stretch. If you are using cotton, make it closer to 35" so there is less stretch needed to meet 35". If acrylic, make it shorter and require a bit more stretch (since it will over time).

      Actually, since it's 5" wide, make it around 30" to start, since there are a lot of rounds till you get to the edges and start the turn down the sides!

      Which part of the video is giving you trouble? İ could make a short video going into more detail to help show it better.

      Hi, it's been awhile since you asked your question, but I've kept it in my mind and had a break in my posting schedule to talk about how to hold your yarn:
