Sounded really nice but the treble seems a bit bright and brittle. Traditional Kurweil piano tone is more neutral or slightly warmer and smoother tone.
Can Kurzweil release an updated, light and lower budget Kurzweil SP4-7? I like the idea of using a single knob to alter the sound or layer/split volume balance or morphing between sounds like Yamaha’s Montage.
If you know, can you compare the Kurzweil E1 by sound with the Casio s110 or s1100 or Roland FP30 or Yamaha P125 or Korg Liano or Numa Compact - is it better or worse than these models? Thank you.
@@e0236 I have owned Casio S1100 and Korg Liano before. They sounded pretty good and obviously different since they sampled from different grand pianos. It's really up to your preference and budget. I just think the KaE1's treble is a bit bright and brittle sounding compare to old Kurzweil. Listen to some old videos with a pair of good headphone for comparison: ruclips.net/video/ev25OPtHQUs/видео.htmlsi=CqtgJpvb3M-tKpxI ruclips.net/video/XsA7yv9uwdo/видео.htmlsi=mAQldxwYgWZ6ndgQ I just wish Kurzweil can create a modern SP4-7 that weights less than 5 kg. With just a a dozen of bread and butter sounds that we can easily layer/split and tweak for live play.
@@paulyllow Sp4-7 is good. I am also interested in such an instrument, I need pleasant keys and good basic sounds - in a compact case 61-88 keys, if you know something interesting, tell me. And did you not like Liano for some reason or are you still using it? Thank you.
Really wonderful composition and very well played ! 🎹 🌟
Sounds nice!
