Season 5 - Episode 9: "Bad Choice Road"
Scene: Lalo asks Jimmy for the real story of what happened in the desert.
All music is composed by Dave Porter.
Since this audio is ripped directly from the episode, some background noises and dialogue are impossible to remove.

hearing this music start up when you see the shadow behind Howard is chilling, really happy they brought the track back though. Gave me nostalgia to when I first watched Season 5

i love the background noises in this. it adds so much to the terror just hearing the quiet cars going by in the street unaware of the horror that's in Kim and Jimmy's apartment.
relevant music

@@camerongreene3357 Off on a trip to Belize
This is the exact moment Howard Hamlin became Hole Headbangin'
@@camerongreene3357OH SHIT OH MY GOD HE'S - HOWARD NO
Lalo just staring at you without saying a word or breaking eye contact
The pure, primal terror when Lalo walked in the second time.
I have never been so scared for the safety of a fish.
This was a warning of what came next...
same music, so tense
I never realized that the track from "Plan And Execution" was similar to the one used in this episode. It’s almost like Lalo has his own theme.
He does, "Nothing gets past Lalo"
The title should really be "Lalo at Jimmy's Home" because these are the only times it's been used
It’s cool how this became lalo’s leitmotif probably the most haunting track in better call Saul / breaking bad
Lalo: Tell me again.
Jimmy: What?
Lalo: Tell, me, again.

"Tell me again."
Such a simple line yet so menacingly said
I just like to hear the story...
OK...
Let's talk :)
One of the best in the series. Ty
I like to think this is Lalos theme, that what his soul sounds like
Slow
Heavy
Methodical
Constant
Unstoppable
Sinister
All the bravado and charisma goes away, and this evil is left
Your just left with his true form like a demon
Lalo is terrifying. He has everything that makes the Salamancas scary but with none of the weaknesses. Just being around him is like an omen of death.
Love the use of the devil's tritone in this.
Howard: Who are you???
Lalo: Me? I’m Nobody.
Saul: That's me.
I love the small details in this, like at 2:53 when the bass guitar riff comes in. Same instrument/style as used in Lalo’s theme (I.e. Nothing Gets Past Lalo and Lalo Underground). A really nice touch since we heard this earlier in the episode!
6:15 the sound is incredible
Awesome edit, Lalo looks so unnerving in this shot.
What’s great about this track is how it matches the bubbling anxiety you get from when he tells Jimmy to tell him again. Like as soon as he’s done saying it a second time, I immediately feel the anxiety creep up, which I assume is what the producers wanted the viewers to feel. And of course, it’s a really good, chilling track.
Not sure why the text comes in so late in the video but hopefully that's not an issue for any of you watching.
howard you need to leave
nononono take your time 😉
What’s this about…?

@@VNN-hx7gi Audience watching the show seeing the credits: Nooooooooooooooooo (see you in seven weeks)
Holy shit… I was looking for this for such a loooong time! Thank you!
Oh my god , I didn’t realise this was the soundtrack I was watching Lalo and expecting the scene to start , the subtle lighting changes and and movements of the picture made me think he was going to leap out of the screen at me , this was scarier than the real thing
"Lalo at Jimmy's Appartment" would be the best title for this soundtrack imo
Everyone knows Howard is going to Belize when Lalo theme one starts playing
It's amazing how something so simple elicits a sense of fear and dread.
Jimmy convincing Tuco to only break the skater rats legs and Kim telling Lalo to get fucked are certifiably ‘best lawyer ever’ moments.
Every time I watch this video, I am doing a staring contest with Lalo. And the music is really setting up the mood.
the "vrrrrrrrrr" in the beginning until 0:16 sounds like something straight out of portal 1
Let's talk :)
Tell
Me
Again
This is like a poisonous miasma in audio form. Incredibly oppressive.
3:28 theres really no need to
tell me...again
Lalo im gonna go ahead and need you to get the hell outta my house
This would a good track for a Horror movie
I need an 1 hour version
