Hello, I'm super green apple here. Alvin here. I have an interesting question. I want to record guitar alone with just a Amp on some with some distortion. I also want to record the stomp walker upstairs smashing the floor with a rock to cruch her candy pepper mints into powder noise ordinance violations. How could I record the rock pounding mint smasher ? She's using a 7 lb. Rock and smashing the floor from upstairs. How can I get the best possible recording of mint smashing lady on record? I intend to use the recording as evidence of noise violations and produce a hit single at the sane time.
@@AlvinHanson1708 that's.... Very specific... So here's a suggestion: To properly capture the rock noises I'd suggest a contact mic. Stick it to the floor near where the pepper mint crushing happens. That should give you a good isolated recording. For the guitar probably a classic SM57 would do fine but if you couple that with a stereo pair you could add a nice room tone in the recording.

How do you record overdubs on the h6 essential? I can't figure it out
Unlike the H6 it's not in the manual so I don't think you can. But I'll double check on the unit tonight 👍🏻
Bit later than hoped but I have to conclude that this option is not available on the H6 essential.
