UH writes its own rules and approves their own notions of justice regardless of fairness in terms of jurisprudence as founded in the US Constitution therein the UH acts out as a rogue institution without regard to the laws and rules of basic logic.
Serious question..more times than not..where are the HAWAIIANS in ANY board in regards to Hawaiian lands/usage..and if there are any, man the numbers appear to be minuscule..
It's good you didn't include yourself you fake HAWAIIAN!!! Admit it already you snake!!! Remember your roots and culture...ya tutu never teach you dat?
Kawai ohawaiki first I did not include myself in their illegal protest, second you don’t know me. Born and raised here with a opinion that matters just as much as yours. But from the looks of it the 13 scopes are not getting in the way so when we are down to nine with tmt everything should be just fine.
@Kakela my Hawaiian. okelahui noke aha ole i ae ia e hana o Mauna? mau makahiki. You should know for years many people have been denied practicing their culture and limited on their own lands. Makemakeoeiamanao Kakela
Somebody must be dangling a tasty morsel in front of the Rejects to try and fast track this sham! The Rejects react as the dogs did to Pavlov. Question Authority!!
TMT may or may not get built - currently it does not look good for TMT 2 scopes, one radio and one disabled visual are obvious choices for decommissioning no matter what . The educational scope should simply stay were it’s at However if TMT does not get built then the overall decommissioning plan needs to be reconsidered UH needs to provide a legal provision or clause to safeguard the decommissioning of any science capable scopes unless contiguous with original TMT planning Useful Astronomy can not become diminished if TMT does not get built This is may be considered sensitive because it will send mixed victory signals to TMT opposers Regardless this board must take appropriate action to affirm the above concerns in a way that is politically correct.
The best answer is space. Or the canari island. The problem is between the illegal state , the realtors and all these foreigners came and over build. In the Hawaiian islands, and they don't own any of the lands. Stolen lands
Woweeee 😡!!! The Regents actions is deplorable, trying to fast gate the motion and going forward, very deceptive,One Big Shame🤬
No TMT. Respect the people. Respect and love the land. Money is not KING.

It does not seem like the current 13 scopes are stopping them from practicing culture.
Your not Hawaiian so it’s not your place to talk with your fake hawaiian name.

Limited as in maybe only a handful of people can practice culture. In all Polynesia not just Hawaii maungas are sacred
