Dear all, please find a small correction added : For Corrected Claim submissions, you need to enter RESUBMISSION CODE 7 in the left side of item of BOX#22 filed & you need to enter the ORIGINAL CLAIM NUMBER of the claim you are replacing in the right side of item of BOX#22. (CMS 1500 FORM).
In some claims, the denial code description is stating add any remark code for this denial. Suppose adding remark code from EDI report and it's reason for denial . Is that enough for that claim?
Please note that if rep provide correct POS, and if you have access to change info on cms 1500 form, then submit corrected claim. If you not sure, transfer to coding team. So that they guide for valid POS.

No it's not enough just adding remark code. Need to do analysis on denial root cause and if required you need to call payer for denial clarifications.
