Went to NYE 2014 in Birmingham AL? Or maybe 2016. It was my first taste of the nectar and he hit us with Pink Elephants, the frog song, and Shampion Chip. Needless to say, I wasn’t ready; Words cannot begin to capture the feeling of that night. Been chasing that feeling ever since.
by that point i was without question the biggest nectar hater there probably could be cuz i realized he just switched up to do whatever was popular to stay relevant on top of the fact i started to think he was kind of an asshole who just seemed weird af for whatever reason.... turns out i got the last laugh with that lol but ill never not admit that the 2016 set was ABSOLUTELY fucking unreal. the bass on the floor was kinda unreal at points. and it was the fact u could just walk down there cuz no one gave a fuck (didnt even have floor. started in the stands) but man what a fucking set
YOOOOO I JUST REMEMBERED. FUCKING "LIGHTS" THO. ABSOLUTELY FUCKING MAJESTIC MOMENT!!!! favorite nectar moment of all time other than all of the divergent spectrum tour which was the peak nectar imo. music went all downhill after that album. nvb had some hits but once he went down that trap into future trap bs it was over... then he started thinking it was a good idea i wont even play my own music anymore at sets and play shit that a local dj would play cuz its "based" its gonna drive me crazy but i cant remember if it was a nye or a center set but one of him he played only like 4 of his own songs lol. and that became a REAL problem. like i go see pretty lights whose music im paying to hear... and thats the ONLY music i get... pay for nectar to HEAR nectar and u get almost nothing... hell now that i think about it... it started getting REAL bad after this nye year
