I would love to watch a full-on endurance racing season of these cars today. Historic Sportscar Racing _really_ needs to get a proper livestream/broadcast setup going for their races, not just live timing!
9:53 - "just completed a tub up restoration on her sanity self"... The closed caption interpretation never ceases to amuse! The cars are just plain awesome.
Roy, join SCCA and volunteer in Timing and Scoring. Great people , great fun, you get in free, and you can go places fans can't. I did it for years before I moved from the Bay Area, and I miss it a lot.
neil1150 Of course, but instead of driving from the Bay Area for half a tank of gas, he could fly to London, make his way to Goodwood, fork over some serious change for hotel rooms then reverse his trip. So yea Goodwood is great. But from his perspective, this event is just about all there is.
Caleb Davidhizar , Oh that is a description of the whole event (The Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion) not this particular video. Notice it also says 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO which isn't in this particular video either. I think the description is a copy/paste from the 4 hour video that this segment was a part of.

u have no idea
You should look here on youtube. There are videos of Bruce Canepa's shop and car collection. He let me drive his new Bugatti Veyron in 2002
Edge Mcsnob Unhelpful.
i go to this event almost every year and i love it. 100$ per ticket is a bit expensive but where else are you going to see a ferrari 250gto
Goodwood three times a year, even saw one crashing in a race.
There are races with 15 of them in it, so this is here is peanuts compared to Goodwood.
roywhiteo5 Disneyland is currently $120.00.............. So this is kinda of a bargain for grown ups.........

Better than Disney Land!
That Gulf Porsche 917 is the epitome of true race car. Blue paint with orange stripe is iconic.
great footage guys, very much enjoyed that
+++++
didn't show the pass for 2nd at the end? 10/10 camera work -____-
prro
Wildy Kings Nothing to do with the cameraman. He probably got it. It’s the vision switcher who decides.
The only place ?
Goodwood revival, has Ferrari F250's and Corvette's racing together, along side GT40's, DB4's and many others.

bruh Bruce has a dream collection
917k is a beast tho
Is the Ferrari 312 (#87) the same as the one in a Petrolicious video?
We all know if they were really pushing it the Porsche 917 would easily be in the lead.
The roll bar on that #4 white car is so tiny.
no gt40?
They had a 917 in the field, might be a bit of an ask to build on that. Shame it only came in second.
that #42 bmw is so mean looking!
Most epic!
As a sidenote: How drunk were the officials when they created this class?
this is the classes i play alot in my GT Legends game..its quite fun (sadly mostly European tracks)..there are addons for cars and tracks tho
Loved it! :)
I didn't see the 60 Corvette am I missing it somewhere or do these guys need to learn their cars because I see a C3 vette
Where did they say 60 Corvette? There is a '69 Corvette in this race. The red white and blue #78.
Dethmeister the description says 60 corvette

Dethmeister ah ya I see what you're saying. Makes more sense now.
I take it that there is a "Gentlemens Agreement" to race hard, but not trash each others vehicles in the process?
Racing was just better pre 1990s
The Chevrons could be such beautiful cars if they had made the rear just a tiny bit less ugly. I could name 20 tanks with a prettier rear right away!
no prize no trophy? well there's a hell of a lot of money changing hands after those races!
Where is the GT40s
1:35 that bmw M4 pace car look like a truck compare to does old school race cars
For 30 grand you can buy a Lola T70 body an chassis kit car.
How safe can it be to have your helmet sticking out of the roof?!
CSL is OP.
Super dull racing! Not a patch on the classic racing at Goodwood, where they really push the cars and often make contact!
❤️💕💕
I saw the bird xD
5:35
Först!
better than american cars
