Great video , and very informative.
Thank you again!!!
I am sure you have already thought of this , just a suggestion for content , maybe you could explain to people some of the different geometric shapes and profiles of Japanese swords. For example, shobu-zukuri, shinogi-zukuri, unikobi-zukuri, naginata/nagamaki-naoshi. Maybe explain the their positive and negative attributes?Just a thought! I am enjoying the channel!
It’s on the list sir! Thank you for the suggestion and for watching thr channel!
Very cool video! Informative with great examples. Love the music effects too. You seem like a professional videographer, but I heard you say you are an amateur. Mad skills!
You are too kind. I LITERALLY just started lol. If you look at my JKOO Kobuse video compared to the shadow dancer, the evolution is clear lol
Very informative and great detail information not typically taught or labelled on katana diagrams. You would be doing a service to the sword community by creating similar episodes. I hope you have plans to do so, and I am subscribing. Thanks!!!
I do indeed! Thank you for the feedback. That was exactly my intent with these-what can’t you get from the stereotypical katana diagram. The how’s and whys and MAYBE a little bit of history thrown in all in a short and digestible time frame. Thank you for subscribing!
After a few more of your videos, i need to go back and watch the last samurai, double check if they "dey are all....PERFECT"
My FAVORITE line! Lol
love this
never thought about how o kissaki would be normal on a nodachi
Right?! When doing research I was looking for specific measurements and it’s less about “this is an inch and a half long so it’s X” and more looking at the entire sword as a whole and then describing it accordingly.
Outstanding! Thank you
Thank YOU!
