  • In the second of our South Wales diaries, we take a trip west to a campsite very close to St Davids, Britain's smallest city.
Here we find possibly the best campsite in Wales. Trust us, it's a stunner. In fact, don't just take our word for it. Take a look at the video and see for yourself. If you'd like to stay there, you can find their website here:

In this, our latest van life video, we also visit St Davids itself and visit the nearby harbours of Solva and Porth Clais.

Welcome to my front garden, I live in Solva. Thank you for showing our little village. New subscriber here, looking forward to more Pembrokeshire/Wales videos.

Such a beautiful place! We loved it and would ideally have liked to come back and spend more time there. Thanks so much for subscribing, a new Wales video should be up soon 🙂

Looking at converting a caddy, watched all your videos now and have one question...is it possible to sit in the back without a crooked neck? 😅

Firstly, thanks so much for watching. Really appreciated. I can just about sit straight up (I'm just under 6ft), but to be honest it's more comfortable to slouch a little. I've never noticed it as an issue at my height anyway.

Is the van hot during the night? Have you done anything to cool it

It does get warm in summer. We have wind deflectors on the front windows, so we can open them safely a couple of inches. That's been enough so far thankfully, so not needed to add any other ventilation.
