it looks crazy but if you know your vehicle and what it can do and how to handle it its not that crazy. Though that guys rear bumper is fucking up is exit angles.
now this guy knows how to offroad. most offroad 4runner videos have never been offroading before and with no experience. but you however, taking your truck on hells gate in the rain, taking your truck in the hotub, BALLS OF STEEL. You sir are a brave man, and a man that actually knows how to offroad. thumbs up.
I don't think there was much calculating going on with that risk. I'm all for calculated risks... the standing on the hood maneuver... that was just stupidity. And it wasn't helping anyway. lol
I live in the UK and I have to say that I didnt know just how capable the 4runner was!! It may have some decent mods but I doubt any vehicle could do that without some serious modding!! If those magic numbers ever come up on the lottery, a 4runner/Taco and Moab is soooo on the bucket list!!!
Damian Morgan 5th gen 4Runner is just a Land Cruiser Prado 150 underneath the aggressive shell. If anything, he made his 4Runner gravity challenged with that roof top tent and the not so great tires.
Dude, mad props on trying the hot tub! I've only ever seen actual buggies attempting it. Would make me nervous to try it in a rig that I didn't trailer there!
looks like.. maybe next time take all that weight off the roof and wider stance wheels/tires. maybe stickier compound tires. crazy angles for stuff on the roof.
Love the vid. My 4runner is about half-way to this point. Just saving up for the bumper and sliders. Maybe the RTT one day if I make it rich. What exhaust is that, it sounds pretty awesome?
Does anyone think a 2 wheel drive is better in this scenario? Just wondering if the front wheel traction makes climbing up harder than just traction from the back.
Adrenaline, and you get to be apart of the club that says "I navigated a 4000 lb. Vehicle through some of the roughest terrain on the planet. Give me a beer 🍺!". And you get a cool 👑 that says "Conquerer". It's either rock crawling or climb Everest. I'll take the former 👍
for the land cruiser/hilux platforms (for which trucks like the 4runner & tacoma are developed from) toyota extensively tests their off road capabilities all over the world so they are definitely proven..
I like a little bit of off-roading but these dudes are crazy as hell.
Replace crazy with stupid
@@tombyorn8278 Stay home and play games on the computer while the rest of us is out enjoying the planet!
Birds are like "you humans and your 4runners are demented *chirp*.

Standing on the front of a rig when it's at that angle is just asking for it. 🤦♂️
Easy diy human catapult

That guy standing on the front of the 4runner is one of the dumbest things I have seen. This dude is crazy!
I'm impressed, you took on some pretty tough obstacles. I've done parts of Moab, you would not see me in that hot tub with my 4Runner. Props...
He has big balls. 👍 I wouldn’t either.
I’ve seen 3/4 ton trucks in the tub
4:25 So, no one is going to warn him about that big hole?!
Damn this dude threw every part in the catalog on his 4runner.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Awesome driving, but the guy at 2:20 standing on the vehicle should be told to stay home. He's going to be a stain under a vehicle someday
@MysteriousOklahoma In bare feet
Better than dying in a hospital bed live life take chances have fun take calculated risks

@@zuluenigma9640 I 100% agree !
Growing up in South Africa we did some crazy shit.
An exciting short life is better then a boring long life.
Dang, super gutsy driver, the worst careless spotters.
Oh snap! Didn't realize you put these on RUclips... And oh snap again - you did hell's gate in the rain?? Your crazy man.
Jason Koertge Jason!!! Your video man keep them coming!!!!
2nd 5th gen owner, I see put his 4runner to use!
I don't get how you can scrape and almost flip so many times... I've watched a few other videos and never seen this much nuttiness 😂
Darwin award nearly handed out...

And FJ for that manner 👍
I've seen stock Discovery LR3s make it through with no mods just tires and spare tire carrier.
2:12 I had to check if my neighbors were killing a pack of dogs
Nice driving bro. Like they all say,you got balls. I wouldn't take mine. It's to nice.
Dude,I've done some of those same trails in my T4R Pro Trail and I have to say you've got balls of steal! Good job man!
Dude, mad props on trying the hot tub! I've only ever seen actual buggies attempting it. Would make me nervous to try it in a rig that I didn't trailer there!
nobody:
dogs at 3am: 2:20
=)))))))))))))))))))
When in doubt just hammer the gas and slam your rig up those trails.....
(Sarcasm)
good thing he had that snorkel kit installed at the dealer.
That snorkels the only thing that kept him from flipping

Awesome rig and props to you for giving it hell!!! Don’t listen to the trash talkers 👍🏻
I think if you install a foot print gas pedal and a few more undercarriage led lights it will walk up a bit easier next time.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA
You definitely have some big juevos to tackle those trails in a 4Runner
Why?
Rain water on the slick rock....
The only thing stopping you is that departure angle, looks like it could be your tow hitch
Love the vid. My 4runner is about half-way to this point. Just saving up for the bumper and sliders. Maybe the RTT one day if I make it rich. What exhaust is that, it sounds pretty awesome?
Gets home "Honey where is the 4 Runner?" Answer: "It was stolen and apparently went to a chop shop."
Not aired down much, if at all?!
P V exactly what I was thinking
Ballsy stuff guys! Like others mentioned I’d be hesitant to bring my 4R to attempt some of those 🤔
You've got balls of steel and supreme confidence in your abilities. Well done. Is that a TRD Pro?
Whoa!?! That was nerve racking - and I was just watching it over RUclips!
Where can I get that hood bug deflector ?
then you put it for sale right???
For sale 4runner never off roaded*
It was scary.. thanks for sharing~!
You guys have balls, no way I’d do some of that stuff lol
Awesome video! Can you list your suspension mods?
Looks like too much weight in the rear?
Damn Broseph, some of the best Toyota wheeling I've seen! Do/did you have lockers?
Damn. You crazy Chivas lol.
You need a spotter on escalator sick rig though
Nice driving dude. Bravo!
👍 All I can say is, you have way bigger balls than me! Lol
This was insane. Literally could have been crushed a few times.
Damn....need to air down those tires for better better grip
LOL. Props. I've never seen anything like this.
Good job man! That's not an easy trail.
Don't get how the 4runner is even lifting the front end with such big balls of steel...
Your trail performed very well dude
That looked tolotly INSANE!! Bet it was fun though!?
Damn dude that was awesome!!!
how do you get down
what kind of roof rack is that?
fadedaily gobi
It's an Ecotechne. A Venezuelan company.
I guess this doesn’t have A-TRAC?
Is that a Wilco Tire carrier you have?
2:15 needs to be a gif for a bad idea
What kind of roof rack do you have?
I held my breath for like half the video.
This is what happens when u go to trails after picking the car from the Showroom.
Does anyone think a 2 wheel drive is better in this scenario? Just wondering if the front wheel traction makes climbing up harder than just traction from the back.
Nope.
is this a serious question lol
Come back again after you outgrow your Tonka toys
If you lose traction in the rear.......... then what?
Nice driving!
2:00 just dumb.what do you mean thats not covered under dealer warranty
That's some good fun watching this....
Where is this
Moab Utah. The Hell's Revenge trail.
Needs better tires for sure and a more patient driver.
Need to air down more
Awesome job!
is that a stock highlander
He must move upper weight to forward , then he will move smoothly
Damn that was dope!
I keep my 4runner on the pavement.
ejones9924 gay
2:59, what the....
That's some crazy shit!
only one thing will help.....more cow bell.
I don't get it... what's the point...?
Why did you watch the video? I don't get it!
Its fun... that's the point

A stupid is a stupid does.
I dont even think Toyota tests these cars like this....
Not sure if they ran Moab, but they did the Rubicon trail and completed the Baja 1000 as part of the release back in 2010. It's pretty impressive.

Leran from your mistakes and do it with knowledge next time. easy well done.
Wrong wheels for the job
tire carrier is problem.
2:54 my stock LR3 made it up that surely you could’ve
Poor 4Runner.
For sale, like new
Bunch of Vandals.
WILCO's suck, but that one saved your ass.
Take your damn s pair off if your going to crawl! Rock crawling 101
厉害了
Rock rock crawling with rock hard tires lol learn how to air down buddy
한국인 같네요....ㅎㅎㅎ
how is this fun? id have to make around 250K a year to enjoy this and even then i wouldnt do that to my truck lol
Idk man I have a trail and take it on some pretty rough terrain. Nothing compared to this cant imagine the cost
2:15 The dude on top of the hood 🤦♀️. Sometimes tragedy happens when they do that.
This driver should be banned from the trails until he learns to drive. What a skill-less hazard.
smh
ummmmm buddy if your runner doesn't want to do it don't make it do it. fuc up your transmission sooo bad
2:12. most stupid thing ive seen.. smh
Ugh...... Garbagee driving and cringe worthy spotters
