13:30 I think you did a great job, generally when I want to remove shine from something and retain color I use a matte clear varnish and it will retain most the color while removing shine. Absolutely stunning job on both the spider symbols by the way!
Man, this figure looks SICK with a proper paintjob on it. Sucks that we don't have a nice Peni figure yet, but maybe when the next movie releases, they'll release her and her sick SP//dr mech.

He isn’t gifted artists have to work for years to get good at art or painting and he has done many other figures before this one
@@Zoominnnn yes agreed. "gifted" is a just a figure of speech used to compliment someone's skills. Almost always it means that some has had to work hard to train those skills, but calling them gifted is a way of saying they make it look easy when it's in reality very hard. Not trying to diminish the dudes work here, just a common English figure of speech.
The face of Miles looks more natural after you have removed the shine.
I think they added the blue to try and represent how it looks when the light shines on it, I guess the rest is just from early concept art since they start on these toys way before the movie is done

Agreed. Wasn't in the film alot, but could be a really nice figure with a touch up
I recommend using acetone no remove any paint that Hasbro uses but you must go very careful with it because it damage the plastic if it's to much👍

I saw this one asian creator on TikTok that buys anime figures and adds a bunch of highlights and makes it all solid colors and uses cell shading. He does it similar to how you tried with the arms. It maybe good to study how they do it, I wanted to study it but I still can't grasp it but you might be able to

The spiders looks really impressive !! I feel like the hightlight are a little bit to subtle and maybe you could had them to the uper torso

Seeing how great this fix went, would you make a fix for the 2099 figure? For example giving neon orange highlights on the red parts and adding the suit pattern on the blue parts
The body and sculpt on these figures are perfect. But I much prefer your repaint. I hav the figure and I’m wishing they did what you did.

No it's a concept but I like it much more than the design chosen for atsv, it seems like a better evolution of the first costume and it's not simply a black costume with a logo and two red stripes under the armpits, those little details on the shoulders have that I-don't-know-what thing and the spider on the back that reaches the neck it is visually intriguing. However, we will see about the costume for the third film, maybe he will create the definitive costume like the classic one from the comics or maybe they will do something totally different
