8:22 the reason that got nerfed is because you used to be able to use flash (1+4) right after for a full combo. You can still use flash but it only works if they're neutral guarding, holding back blocks the flash.
I still miss the old Yoshimitsu's DF + 2, 2 (from TTT 2) It was one of his best moves and I used it alot back in Tag 2, they totally got rid of it on Tekken 7 :(
cd1 flips them over now like devil jins b4. try 22 cd1 wall combo.sometimes it hits on ground too with flips effects not sure when and how. happened to me in a few matches.
both normal throws should be floor breaks for Yoshimitsu really. 1+3 is him stabbing through the opponent and through the ground too, if its a weak floor it should break
Hey, im a fairly "newer" player to Tekken and i started maining Yoshimitsu only but i dont understand how B+2,1~KIN works, usually i hit B+2,1 but i cant KIN as fast as you, or other pros that i've watched (like OyO) Thanks in advance for any answer
have you tried inputting B+2,1,1+2 all as one? When I was starting out I treated B+2,1 and KIN as separate moves but what works is inputting 1+2 immediately after B+2,1, often followed by F+2
Then the answer is yes. I bought tekken 7 on release only to play yoshimitsu and always wanted to play tekken online but never had ps3. If you do buy it prepare to get fkd =D
sure, the other buffs were great, but i think the u/f+2 nerf is just too damn big, his already tricky to land flash after it leading to his highest damage combos are no longer possible to hit, it already whiffed on some characters no matter what, and most characters you needed to be angled in a VERY specific way, i don't see why they would remove it, it's already a very predictable low, it's launch punishable on block, it didn't have many upsides aside from the possible flash combo, and the counter hit combo off u/f+2 doesn't give it justice.
Or use that move sparingly like you should its a huge telegraphed low that is super punishable. The trade is that you get high mix up from it. U/f 2d cancels the attack and leaves you in crouch to mix up with wr 2,1 which is a mid natural combo launcher, easily getting 70 damage out of it. Thats a deadly 50/50 in itself now now considering the buff to u/f 1. All in all the nerf to U/f 2 is minor. The change to [3,4] is bigger in my eyes as it hurt his neutral game.
I agree. The nerfes that yoshi has gotten almost outweigh his buffs. considering the fact that hes gotten buffs on moves that are situational specific.
His changes were nothing special.. tired of people claiming “he’s so much better.” 4~3 is a shit move, WS 3,2 is a shit move, uf1 is a shit move, KIN 3 is seeable as fuck and a shit move. KIN stance has no mixup BECAUSE KIN 3 is seeable as fuck. He needed a 13f WS punisher, a safer low, cd1 being able to hit grounded.. or literally anything other than he got

cuz of inconsistency, it makes the game look unprofessional. They could've just make it succeed each time instead of removing it tho.

Most of the moves that yoshi has anyway could be easily wiffed just through off timing. Which is kind of a disadvantage
