@@alexa.2403 di daw nagqualify ata si michael sa winter olympics 2022 and nagdecide ata sila nung coach na di narin tumuloy dahil nga daw tuloy tuloy ung injury ni michael. felt sad for him tho but i hope we can get more skaters here that would represent us in the future winter olympics

We did send a figure skater in the winter olympics. I do hope we see more Filipino elite figure skaters competing in ISU events.

I always wonder in all womens atheletes, what if they have their menstruation period during their game, it must be difficult and annoying
No Name there is a pill to delay menses so I guess they ask doctors for it.
They learn to adapt. They also learn to deal with it ("suck it up" is the term we use in sports). Training doesn't cease even if you have your monthly cycle. In competition, it's like showbiz, "the show must go on". Our daughter is 14 and has become part of the junior national team. So I'm speaking from experience. More than being physically strong, athletes also have to be mentally tough.
That is also my thinking and thanks for the response below. so bless them all (athletes) what they are doing is not only for themselves, they are carrying their family and nation. Let us thank them for they are there offering themselves and harnessing the talents that God gave it to them. They are there for us who cannot do it like me. Let us just support them win or lose. BTW Congratulations to all athletes.

If she can do a quad, she could represent the Philippines in the ISU Figure Skating. Pang world class
actually po quads are more for men since its really hard for women to rotate in the air thats why men has no problem landing a triple axel but when a women does it its a pretty big deal. but yeah sobrang galing niya po.
a quad doesn't guarantee a chance to represent the phils. in ISU figure skating .. only a handful of women can do a quad, and some of them do not even get a chance to stand on the podium .. so yeah, basically a quad is good, but it's not everything ..
hi hello annyeong Actually, women are beginning to do quads now. This season, nearly 4 Russian senior ladies in the Grand Prix series have completed quads and 3Axels. Currently, the only quad restriction for women is that they are not allowed to do them in the short program.
@@ibabylei didnt only one of them actually landed it cleanly tho??? because most of them were considered to be under or over rotated or am i talking about last year???
She doesn't need to do quad, recently lang naging mainstream ang quad sa ladies fs. She just need to polish and upgrade her triple jumps. FYI, she has already represented Philippines sa major ISU competitions these past few years like yung 4CC at Challenger series.

If she doesn't have a us or Canadian coach she needs to get one. I hope PHILIPPINES government supports her. She needs to sign up with brian orser of canada. He was Yuna Kims coach, got her gold. Yuzuru Hanyu gold in the men's figure skate. He is now working with Evgenia Medvedeva. He got a gold from the 1988 Olympics. she's good now but with right coach and training she can go for gold. Good luck. Figure skating is an expensive sports my two girls 7 and 3 are figure skaters.

@@NoobiesAstig4x4 I do understand that.Ang sinasabi ko is medyo ilang yung moves nya kaya medyo di mo makikita yung magandang flow ng movements nya kasabay ng music probably kinakabahan pero after noong successful jumps nya tuloy tuloy na din yung magandang flow ng performance nya even sa ibang part na slow ang music maganda na yung galaw nya.
