This doesn't seem any faster than to stitching. Either way, there is a seam. I'd rather keep the selvage words, etc rather than the extra bulk. I don't mind the fuzzies. They add to the block.
It's not faster and yes there is a seam. But it's more stable and easier to sew. Just showing people who hate top stitching due to the warping how they can still use selvages and they don't have to give a shit about losing the words and the fuzzies. If you want the words, keep doing it as top stitching.
I have watched like a dozen tutorials on selvages and this is by far the easiest with the best results. Love your style, Darlene.
