Sad to see P&O Australia disappear
Thanks for the News
I imagine it was hard to operate a cruise line with three ships in different ports. Couldn't be cost effective. Have a good one.
Interesting move by Carnival. We loved the Golden Princess and would like to see what Carnival does to her. Thanks Doug, happy Tuesday!
It’s sad to see P&O cruises disappear love to sail with P&O with Pacific Explorer only for one time but will get one last P&O sail later this year on Pacific Encounter ❤❤
Sadly the prices are too much so I’ll go on Pacific Encounter at the end of this year
I feel like I want another couple hundred shares of Carnival. Stock can’t be at $15 forever.
Royal was a damn good by at $22.
The title is misleading and scared the crap out of me as someone who just bought a cruise for July from Jacksonville!
The title is not misleading. Carnival owns 9 cruise brands and they are folding one of them into Carnival Cruise Line. Enjoy your cruise.
Quite a move from Carnival. Getting bigger and bigger. Interesting news. Have a great Tuesday!😊
We hope Carnival keep the two ships cruising Australian waters. 🤞🏻🙏 We lost the Carnival Spirit to the northern hemisphere. Carnival Splendor which replaced her, is very PINK. I think the Interior design person must have been on a Pink theme. You either like it or loathe it.
We lose one ship for 6mths the of the year, as the Carnival Luminosa goes to Seattle to do the Alaska run.
Having had the option of the Pacific Encounter out of Brisbane and the Pacific Adventure out of Sydney, used to give us a decent choice. RC is also basing two ships here as well. Anything else we have to sail a leg of a world cruise to get the newer ships. It is not like we are spoilt. I hope Carnival doesn’t ditch us?
Good morning Doug! Cruise lines definitely seem to be preparing for tons of passengers. Building new ships, acquiring ships from other cruise lines seem to be a trend for additional passengers. Have a great day!
I was on this cruise. Got off Quantum after 2pm. Rescheduling flight was a nightmare, Didn't get home to Orlando until Tuesday after 3pm
Oh dang. I bet. Glad you made it. Did the airline take care of you without change fees and all that?
That's why you don't fly in or out on the same day you embark and disembark. The airlines don't have to compensate you.
@@CruiseRadio It was SW airline. They didn't charge us any fee. While I was on the phone with the agent, she stated that they were just getting the news about the ship. I was among the first batch to call in so was lucky to get out the same day but at 11 pm
John Heald posted some great info about the Queen Anne's Revenge christening! So interesting that is has an actual English Pub onboard with steel tip dart boards to play darts! Carnival is expanding its fleet with absorbing ships from other brands that it owns vs RCCL building new ships to expand its fleet. Two different strategies at play!
Hope the P & O Ships can sail from Baltimore and other size challenged ports. Thanks for the update Doug.
Good morning Doug Thanks for the updates 👍
Morning Doug
Carinival is thriving .Yikes docking late but all are safe.Travel insurance to rebook flights home .Ty for your updates.Have a wonderful Tuesday.Btw can't wait for the Stanley Cup playoffs Go Oliers Go lol
Good morning doug. Carnival just made it easier to go to Australia and take a cruise.
Now I can use some of my loyalty benefits.😀😁
Carnival has operated aussie cruises for a while. On a seasonal basis with p&o being a full year schedule. Nothing changes except those who booked. All bookings are cancelled
Congratulations Queen Anne can’t wait to vacation on you one day! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Can't wait!
Me too!!
@@CruiseRadio ikr! 😃😃
Leaving N Carolina in a bit and will be in FLA .
ready for Our Cruise this Weekend ...
Good am Doug.
Have a good time ! Take lots of pics
A lot of unhappy Aussies over here including me. My first 2 cruises was with P&O Australia.
Thanks Doug
Good morning, Doug! Wow, Carnival pulled the plug on P &O, I can see the addition of the ships to the brand, but with Carnival also absorbing some Costa ships to the brand does this mean that they are also on the chopping block? I can also see the delay of the Royal Caribbean ship being delayed, weather can get very nasty rather quickly in that area. Any news on how the got those passengers home? Anyways have a great day Doug, and we’ll see you tomorrow!!😎
It was only P&O in Australia, just involved two ships. The British P&O line is still doing well.
P&O Australia only had 3 ships. Carnival absorbed 2, not sure what happened to the third.
P&O Britain has 7 ships, 2 of which are adults only.
Missing flights is a bummer x 10000000
In a brutal move carival arent rolling out this change well. ALL cruise bookings are cancelled. No rebooking offerred. Imagne this move will also impact the uk
Great news about the old Star princess and Golden /P&O cruise ships I loved those 2. Let’s see what changes Carnival does and the new names. ❤
Royal coming out with monster new ships and Carnival taking older ships and rebranding them. Sad way to try and stay on top of the industry
Good morning Doug, we sailed on the original Star Princess in 1995, it was built in 1988 & scrapped in 2021. I believe there's been 3 Star Princess Ships.🛳️🛳️
On the Carnival Pride 10 days at sea and no ports due to ice and waves next stop Corner Brook and they are saying this is a water shuttle, Maybe 11 days at sea cruise to nowhere
That's sad 😭
I saw that. Wild. What kind of comp did they wind up giving in total. That was doomed from the start it seemed starting with Halifax.
@@CruiseRadio we got 400 US dollars per cabin and excursions refunded
For the life of me why not give them back to their original owners P&O? P&O Australia is actually 20 years old. Carnival Anne has a ring to it.
P&o was wound up after it sold global cruise operations decades back.p&o was just a brand. Like cunard is.
Google wouldn't allow a like.
🛳🛳🛳
Better increase salary to workers
Carnival is getting bigger bigger that is so awesome!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Love it!
@@CruiseRadio me too! 😀😀
Hey Doug!
Hey! Thanks for watching.
So, P & O is going to be downgraded when it falls under the Carnival corporate umbrella. No surprise, folks.
Good morning and have a wonderful tuesday.
Gm Doug!☕️😊
Happy Tuesday Doug! ❤😊❤
Same to you!
@@CruiseRadio Thanks 😊
Ccl stock finally up a bit. + new p&o ships. Tks for all news
I curious if carnival will put a whale tail on these ships
