    ► Who are we?
We’re Rob and James, partners in crime and life for over 14 years. With our dog, Oscar, we love travelling, exploring the world and experiencing new things.
For the past few years, we have spent a month in the winter in warmer climes but the pandemic put paid to that so we decided to explore more of our beautiful home country, the UK.
We first cruised in 2018 and loved it so much that we decided to start vlogging about it.
We know there are many cruise channels, so we aim to make our videos entertaining and full of valuable advice and tips (that we wish we had known).
We publish 3 kinds of videos on this channel:
    1. Our travel vlogs (including cruising, camper vans, Africa and other locations)
    2. Site/hotel reviews
    3. Product reviews

Hi, I have enjoyed watching this series and found it very honest and useful as an insight to what to expect when I do this same voyage in summer. Thank you for all the information and especially the food reviews.

I’m a little apprehensive about my trip on Iona in February 24. I went on Fred Olsen Borealis in September - my first ever cruise - to the Fjords and the food, service etc was outstanding. Trouble is, as a solo passenger I paid the same amount on Borealis for an obstructed view for 8 nights as I have for a balcony cabin for 14 nights on Iona! It will be interesting to compare! Thanks for your videos, most helpful.

Hi, I have just come off Iona'a trip to Rotterdam etc. Also nervous about first trip on such a huge ship. I was very surprised that as I do not have smart phone and could not use P&O's app, I did not have to queue for meals etc. everything was so well organised. Took only 15 mins from leaving taxi to embarking Iona. Quite amazing. Also self disembark which is so easy, as quick to get taxi to rail station (I am lucky as I live near Christchurch which is only 25 mins by train). Lovely ship and inside cabin but like you I found it a bit soulless. My favourite P&O ship is Ventura as it always feels so cosy and welcoming. Missed any ballroom dancing area on Iona, which I love to watch. Surprised you didn't mention The Quays food hall {good breakfasts} or The Olive Grove (where I ate 4 times). Lovely mediterranean decor and food at no extra cost (unless you want lobster or steak etc). All in all a good experience but like you I prefer smaller ships.

Glad you had a good trip. I’m doing a full food review this Sunday so look out for that. We are next sailing on Celerity Infinity next year so a smaller ship for sure.

Hi. I was on the same cruise. The time to leave your luggage outside your door for disembarking was from 2pm. I left mine out as I went to dinner and this worked OK. It’s only my 2nd cruise so I have very little to compare it with, but agree the food wasn’t as good as I’d hoped. More staff and better food would tempt me back to Iona.

Agree. Most cruise lines are 2am not 2pm! Have you any more cruises booked?

None booked as yet. Maybe 2025.
